Recommended is approximately 1 to 2 teaspoons for every 8 oz of water but we encourage to experiment with the tea-to-water ratio to match your preference. Gyokuro has approx 140mg caffeine/g, more extracted with higher temp and longer steeping.

Q: How many times can this tea be re-steeped and How many servings or cup of tea can this whole tea tin (50g) make?

You can re-steep it up to 3 times depending on your taste preference. Slightly increase the water temperature with each successive steeping for best results. Get about 30 cups from one tea tin, potentially more since it can be resteeped.

Yes. The best-before date is on the kraft paper pouch or at the bottom of the tin. Our teas are also tested for mycotoxins, heavy metals, pesticides, and radiation to ensure quality.
