I am absolutely in love with the Born Pretty French Manicure Kit! The set is perfect for creating salon-quality nails at home. The nail stamper is precise and easy to use, making French tips effortless even for beginners. The included gel nail polishes—the Jelly Milky Pink and crisp white—have smooth, buildable coverage and a beautiful glossy finish that lasts. I especially love how natural and elegant the colors look, giving my nails that classic French manicure style without the hassle of going to a salon.

This Born Pretty French Tip Stamper set deserves an award, a trophy, and maybe even its own national holiday. I have spent YEARS trying to freehand French tips like a calm, collected adult… and failing miserably. Then THIS set walked into my life like, “Don’t worry baby, I got you.” First Impressions It comes with multiple stamp shapes so you can do every French tip style imaginable: • Deep French • Shallow French • That classy ‘90s French • That modern almond slay • That “I’m on Pinterest too much” perfect curve I opened the box and immediately felt like a professional even though I was sitting on my couch in pajamas. Using It I dipped the stamper in white polish, pressed it onto my nail, and nearly SCREAMED because: THE LINE WAS PERFECT. Perfect curve. Perfect smile line. Perfect “I know what I’m doing” energy. No shaky hands. No wonky tips. No rage-removal of the whole set. Why It Slays So Hard • Even works on long nails (praise be) • Does deep French tips without you needing surgeon hands • Works with gel, regular polish, everything • Suddenly makes you look like a nail tech who charges $75 per set • Makes every nail shape look immaculate Pros • Easy to use • Multiple shapes for different tip styles • Beginner-proof • Saves HOURS of struggling • Gives clean, crisp, satisfying French tips Cons • You will redo your nails just to play with it • Suddenly every friend wants you to “just do a quick set” • You’ll judge every crooked French tip you see now Final Verdict If you want French tips that look like they were done by a steady-handed angel instead of someone battling caffeine jitters — BUY THIS. It turned me from “I tried my best” to “Wow, who did your nails?” real quick.

I got the milky pink/ white kit. The gel has held up extremely well. It could just be the top coat I used, but the gel only started chipping around day 7 and it’s only around the nail tip (not noticeable to others). I’m an extremely crafty person and I’m always doing hands-on stuff, so the chipping was expected much sooner. I’m expecting this set to last two weeks or more! First picture is the day I did the nails, second picture is day 10 ‘chipping’. This gel set isn’t salon quality, but it does the job and worked well for me. My procedure for this set: Buff natural nails, dehydrator, nail primer, adhere buffed gel tips using rubber base gel, 2 coats of milky pink, 1-2 coats white gel for the nail tips, finish with a glossy top coat.

I was originally excited for these. I have been getting into stamping and wanted a better stamper than I had. I wanted the clear so I could see where I was placing on my nails. These stampers would not pick up the polish. I tried different polishes, different scraping techniques, nothing seemed to work. They have a nice feel to them overall but I couldn't get it to work. I am new to stamping so user error is possible which is why I didn't want to give it one star. I was able to get a little bit of the stamp after doing light buffing and using acetone on the stamper.

Could be better i hate that when you push the design down sometimes the jelly tip goes down in the tube and you have to pull it back out they should have a solid backing. The scraper is very thin and some of the edges are rough and drag your polish out of the design. Over all they work. Here's a neat trick i learned if your having a hard time picking up a design buff one of them lightly and problem solved sometimes it picks up better and sometimes the smother on picks up better just depends on the design.
