Absolutely fantastic scale. Compact and light weight. In addition to the scale it comes with two plastic shells that cover your scale on the go and double as trays you can set on top, for liquids and small debris. It has several settings for weight and is consistent on its measurements. Really well made.

I use this small scale to weigh hops for brewing and it is perfect for that job.

I purchased these scales in order to help me refill my Canon inkjet cartridges by weighing them when full in order to calculate exactly how much ink to add when they show as empty. I also thought they would be useful for my wife when she weighs small quantities of ingredients in her cooking. The scales are reasonably well made ,very compact, accurate and well priced. They are easy to calibrate and there is no need to buy a separate weight for testing purposes. I used the weights we already had for traditional kitchen balance scales but you could use almost any small item of a preknown weight(eg a coin). The degree of accuracy is excellent and more than adequate for domestic purposes - it was spot on for most of the kitchen weights. Occasionally it showed 0.1 gram difference but that could easily have been the test weight that was out. The tare facility is very useful so that the weight of the weighing receptacle is taken into account and zeros the display so that what then goes into it is the only thing that shows on the display. It is best suited to weigh small objects which will fit into the small weighing pan and whilst this one will weigh up to a kilogram I do not anticipate getting anywhere near that. Time will tell how durable it will turn out to be. I echo all the other positive reviews.

Just received this today. I must say, I was expecting something cheap and not as reliable as other, more expensive products but luckily I was wrong! The scale is fantastic. Its super precise although it does tend to round things UP. A 2 pence coin should weigh 7.12g and this one reads 7.2g (although I must admit it may be a dirty coin). a clean £2 reads the perfect 12g that it should weigh and the 20p coin reads pefrectly at 5g. The best thing about it in my opinion is that the results are still just as accurate when measuring larger weights. adding a 500g weight and then adding a £2 coin will read exactly 512 grams. using the Tare function and removing the coin will read -12g as you would expect... if you blow on it, the weight increases, its that sensitive. you get the idea, it works well. The only hiccup I found is when using the tare function (which I don't use that much anyway). Other scales normally wait one second or two before applying the tare value to compensate for you pressing the scale but this one seems to be to quick about it and you end up with wrong tare values, pressing the tare button very quickly seems to resolve this problem. The scale takes about 5 seconds to auto calibrate which is great. recommended!
