Light as Air & Long-Lasting — Amazfit Helio Strap Exceeds Expectations
I’ve been using the Amazfit Helio Strap Fitness Tracker for a few weeks now, and honestly — surprised is an understatement. This thing checks so many boxes that matter most in a daily wearable. 🔥 What I Love • Unbelievably lightweight — it feels like nothing on my wrist, way lighter than other watches and bands I’ve used before. I sometimes forget I’m even wearing it. • Battery lasts ages — I’ve charged it far less often than any other tracker I’ve tried. The battery life here is genuinely impressive for everyday use. • Clean, distraction-free design — no screen buzzing or notifications that pull me out of focus. It lets me stay productive without those constant digital interruptions. • Consistent data — heart rate, activity and sleep tracking feels solid and trustworthy, giving a clear picture of daily health without over-complication. • Great activity tracking — it quietly does its job, and I appreciate that the motion/fitness detection doesn’t trigger false positives every five minutes. ⚡ Minor Notes • This isn’t a full smartwatch with apps and notifications — but that’s actually part of why it’s so light and immersive. • If you’re after tons of extras (calls, messages, GPS), go for a full-feature watch — but for pure health and focus, this is gold. 💡 Overall This tracker hits a sweet spot between comfort, battery life, and accurate health data. Fit is good, durablilty is good and easy to use. It’s perfect for anyone who wants a no-nonsense fitness band that just works… and stays out of your way.

It’s a great addition to your training
Great item I’m not a runner but a strength athlete and this is great for that no subscription either unlike the much dearer whoop , the strap could be bigger but this lasts 10 days when charged , picks up work outs without telling it , monitors sleep , as well as lots of other things , just easy to use and the stats it gives you are easy to understand, like the bio charge which is like your body’s battery that goes up and down during the day depending on what you do , maybe no good for paid athletes, but good enough for a fat old bloke that likes moving heavy stuff

does the job if you're not obsessed with the numbers
Having had a number of different fitness trackers, including whoop, Garmin and alike, I wanted to give this a go as a screen free alternative without the subscription of woop. Have been wearing for a couple weeks and I can say, for the price, it does the job. It's comfortable to wear, is light weight and looks very much like a whoop band. Battery life is pretty good, I've charged it 2 to 3 times in as many weeks, and it is quick to charge back to full battery. The small charger is a worry in a sense that it's easy to misplace and lose if you're that way inclined. Tracker wise, it seems fairly accurate and automatically picks up my exercise. It does say my resting heart rate is consistently in the 80s, which is very different to other trackers I've had and I don't believe to be all that accurate knowing my level of fitness, but as I'm not concerned or focused on that, it's easy to overlook. overall, if you're not super serious about tracking all things fitness then this is a good budget option for you.

The Best Tracker for CFS/POTS/Long Covid. Amazfit Zepp app BIOCHARGE is a Game-Changer
Having previously given up on Fitbit when google bought them over, then moved to Garmin in a smart-watch, briefly to Polar for swimming, I can safely say the Amazfit Helio is the best fit for tracking every day life. I have fatigue like symptoms - and the 'BIOCHARGE' score is invaluable to keep an eye on rest, recovery and not pushing my mental or physical activities too hard. When I do, they equally and efficiently track the correlation between the day before and how I'm feeling then recovering the next few days along with giving helpful insights into what to watch out for, and what activities my body is finding draining. If you have Fatigue, CFS, Fibromyalgia, POTS or long covid, this is the health and fitness tracker for you. Along with the already mentioned BIOCHARGE feature, it also gives an exertion score, workout and activity log and pretty in-depth sleep and nap tracking. The wristband itself is a lovely only very slightly stretchy fabric band with Velcro style stap which stays put but doesn't dig in or cause irritation like some of the silicone based ones can. It is rated to 5ATM, so whilst it is splash and swim proof, I choose not to take it into the shower, as it officially doesn't withstand 'direct water pressure' like from a shower, however they do note on the website that it is indeed showerproof too. Feels sturdy, and the band protects it from scratches and drops when it's off - the included magnetic charging mini attachment has pretty weak magnets so is a bit hard to sometimes position 'just right' however the battery lasts well over a week, so I have no complaints. Best of all? The Zepp app is totally free, and subscription free forever. And the only 'paid-for' add-ins which I despise in other products, when I've already shelled out for a device and/or subscription, is some silly meditation noise tracks AI tuned to you and your body! 😂

Terrible at recording sleep Vs Garmin devices. Don't waste your money!
As a previous Garmin user for many years I can tell you straight that this thing is beyond terrible. it is incapable of recording sleep correctly showing long gaps when it thinks I'm awake and despite setting a sleep schedule of 21:30 to 07:00 7 days a week it consistently still only starts recording at midnight. Additionally it thinks I am awake for long periods when it is recording when I know I was sleeping . I have followed all advice and tightened the strap, worn it on both wrists and even tried a bicep strap it makes no difference. I have no tattoos as I read this can be a problem as well. I am an ex Garmin user and I only switched because I don't like smart watches and fancied the ideas of a more analogue 2026 but still want a health and fitness tracker. The sleep tracking on the Garmin is excellent and gets it spot on every night. without me having to tighten it so it nearly cuts off my circulation. Terrible effort from Amazfit, I will be requesting a refund on this bit of garbage!

Sleep Tracking: The sleep tracking feature is exceptionally accurate. It not only tracks my night sleep precisely but also detects short naps during the day, which most trackers tend to miss. Temperature Monitoring: The temperature tracking works surprisingly well and gives consistent readings. It’s a subtle but valuable feature that adds to overall health insights. Heart Rate Tracking: I didn’t have another device to cross-check the heart rate accuracy, but based on my experience and other users’ reviews, it seems reliable and stable during different activities. Workout Detection: This is where the Helio Strap truly shines. I just start the workout mode before training, and it automatically detects the workout type — whether it’s arms, shoulders, or legs — with remarkable accuracy. Out of more than a month of use, it has only misidentified my workout twice, which is impressive for a strap at this price. Battery Life: The battery life is excellent. It easily lasts long enough to forget about daily charging — another big plus. Overall Verdict: Considering its features, performance, and accuracy, the Amazfit Helio Strap offers incredible value for money. You’re genuinely getting far more than what you pay for, especially compared to other fitness bands in the same category.
