I don't use it very often, but it's a nice electric lighter. No issues with the quality. Charged it overnight once, and it's still working 2 months later. It does get a little warm if used continuously for longer than 30 seconds, or if you're just pushing the button frequently for a few minutes. That's to be expected (IMO) for a battery powered lighter. The arcs do 'fray', so to speak, when in high winds (or in my case just trying to blow them out of existence with my lungs), but the current remains continuous, and should have no problems igniting the objects of your desire. The contact points may need to be cleaned periodically if you're using this to light cigarettes, but possibly not for firework fuses/punks or incense. Arcs seem to be on a timer of some kind and shuts off after being activated for 7 seconds. If you're like me, then you'll need to remember to charge it at least once every 6 months for periodic maintenance of the battery.

I loved the look of surprise on my son's face when he opened the box. He loves scorpions and it is gorgeous! Besides that look of the lighter, he thinks the duel arc plasma lighter is great because it is wind proof. This lighter does not disappoint!

Wish the on button was in the larger part of the lighter not the side.

I loved this lighter when I first saw it, but I've only had it maybe a week, and it's already quitting on me at the end of the day. The charge has died out not as full as when I first started using it. I'm disappointed because there was an initial excitement even when it came to my home.

Bought this as a first gift to my boyfriend. Ge loved it and such a great conversation starter. Everything we have come across thinks its the coolest thing ever. Very happy. Works great. Hes been using it about 5 months now and had held up great with him dropping it and sometimes spilling on it. Lol

I originally intended to buy 1 rechargeable arc lighter for my Dad because he started to have a hard time flicking a normal bic lighter and complains about the cost of them. And i found plenty on amazon for less than $10, however, when i saw this combo pack i thought it was a perfect match for us and paid the $25. Seeing that hes a veteran the eagle one was sure to be a hit, and the scorpion was perfect for me because im a scorpio. Even though im a prime member these lighters took a few weeks to get here and when i opened the package i was really excited. I read the instructions beforehand, and plugged both lighters in for a full charge. About 10 min later i heard a slight crackling sound and i noticed the blue light went out on the eagle lighter so i unplugged it and found that it had burned and no longer worked. The scorpion lighter charged just fine. So i gave him the scorpion 1 and of course he liked it because it was easy for him to use and he wouldnt have to buy another bic but i could tell he didnt care much for the scorpion on it. So in the end i couldve just bought an $8 one but hey...if it wasnt for bad luck i wouldnt have any luck at all LOL.
