The BEST chemistry workbook on the market!
My absolute FAVORITE source for chemistry worksheets, bellwork, homework, and tutoring! I have been teaching and tutoring chemistry for over 30 years - this is STILL THE BEST resource I have found. Answers are provided in the back of the book.

Great Book of Worksheets
These are great worksheets for review, extra / additional work for struggling students and / or busy work. I use them as homework helpers and have scanned them as PDFs and used with projector for class work. The problems leave the right amount of space and they do not give students too many problems to work on for each topic. It is also nice how the consolidate the answer sheets to 4 per page.

They are good for a quick assessment of students' understanding
This book covers the major concepts in chemistry that would be covered in a high school class. They are generally short and students can complete them quickly. They are good for a quick assessment of students' understanding, or to use as homework assignments. My only complaint might be that I wish some of the math-based sheets contained more problems. This book is worth the money if you need some supplemental worksheets.

a must-have for a high school chemistry teacher
This is a great series of workbooks with review sheets and exercises. It includes answer keys in the back. All pages are perforated so they could be removed and run through a copy machine as needed for a full class. Or, the answer key pages in the back could be easily removed so the rest of the workbook could be given to a single student. My only suggestion to the publisher is that they choose a different font for the next printing since the capital i and lower case L look absolutely identical, and that can make interpreting chemical symbols and reactions difficult for a novice student.

Been using these for years!
I found this book when I was a new teacher and after 20 years, I still use it at least every couple weeks.

Breaking The Routine?
Warning: this is not for beginners! This is a book for kids who already have a leg up on their studies in chemistry, are familiar with the periodic tables and have a strong working knowledge of high school algebra. The authors make it fun and entertaining with crossword puzzles, pop quizzes and activities that make this more enjoyable than your run-of-the-mill study guide. If you're looking for something to add variety to the routine, look no further.

Good reference
This is an excellent reference book for teaching a beginning chemistry class that needs a lab book. Very easy to read. Not too complicated for students.Gave it a low rating in the toy area because it is not a toy.

Great for charter school chemistry classes
The book makes a bit difference in helping me prepare for lessons. I teach 6th, 7th and 8th grade chemistry at a charter school. The book has handouts of different levels of understanding and complexity. I use the simpler ones for the 6th graders and the more complex ones with my 7th and 8th graders.
