This works great in my 2005 Camry. I could not plug it in upright since the dash was in the way, but plugged it in sideways, bent the arm, and it does not even block any radio or heater functions. See photos. Although the arm bends well, it stays in position. I have had two different models of these holders, and they only lasted about 3 months. I moved them from car to car frequently, and both broke off, leaving a very small piece in the cigarette lighter that had to be removed with a tool. This time I bought one for each car and plan to NEVER unplug them - I think that is the key. I have also found that different models fit better in different cars, as far as blocking the dash controls. Check the arm measurements on the model you are considering, and measure from your cigarette lighter to see where the phone would end up. This model does not fit well in my other car. You just have to really figure out which model will work best with your particular car. Even then you can't really be sure until you try it. Usually something on the dash will be blocked and you just have to reach behind it. Luckily they are not expensive. No problems with this seller, and they sent me an e-mail to follow-up.

I put a ring on my phone, which made it suddenly unusable with my magnetic cell phone holder in my car, so I bought this one. It works great, the usbs work great, and I can charge my phone while it's in the holder. I couldn't plug the aux cord in though, so we cut 1 of the bottom pieces off, and now it's perfect!

My wife ordered one of these 6 months ago, but when I ordered a similar product from another manufacturer (rated 5 stars) that supposedly had a longer arm, I was vastly disappointed with the other unit which did not work correctly. I ordered this instead. This one effectively has a longer arm based on how how the connection points are structured and does a great job charging to boot.

Seems decent. Used on a trip with a rental car in a state I had never been to before. The locking nut was challenging to tighten and loosen by hand while having it tight enough to prevent the holder from falling over holding the phone.

Not only did it not hold the iPhone 7 upright, it damaged my cigarette lighter panel and my usb connection. Now to get that fixed will cost me hundreds of dollars...I bought a vent clip holder and that one works extremely well and no damage to anything else...

I really like this phone mount, I have been looking for one for a while now. I drive a 2017 GMC Terrain and the port to plug this in is down in my dash so it’s hard to find one long enough but this was perfect. My only complaint is I wish it was a tad bit more sturdy, which is kind of unrealistic. The long part that connects the phone to the port will move a little while driving but not enough for it to be a real issue. The phone stays secure and it’s easy to put together

I like this product, but no fit to my Nissan Murano 2014. I need a longer item.

It was my fault I didn’t think to measure the length of the gooseneck. My lighter port is low and the gooseneck is too short. What’s not my fault is the holder swivels in the lighter port. It doesn’t stay in place.
