I believe it's real honey, it tastes like real honey to me and that's why I buy it.

Why not feed to infants?

While this is rare, it is an extremely dangerous and deadly form of poisoning and not worth the risk. Wait till the child is at least 12 month old, and that they do not have a compromised immune system.
