Real time updates. Perfect for automation tasks.
I wanted a temperature sensor to switch on and off my oil boilers smart switch. This device has a real time refresh rate, it updates temperature and humidity readings to smart life app immediately so perfect for my automation task in smart life app. It also works with Google home, shows temperature on the thumbnail and humidity after you click in. I haven't tried automation in Google home but there is no need as all my smart devices are smart life and tuya compatible so I set up my automation tasks in those apps. It's looks good, usb powered, no battery needed. Just three points I'd improve it by, 1. The usb cable provided is standard, as in sticks out too far to wall mount so I ordered a right angled cable to replace that. 2. The vents are on the rear so I just used a few layers of velcro tape to raise it out away from the wall so the vents are clear. 3. The led screen is very bright, you can set the led to go off at your chosen times but I'd have preferred a dimmer setting to make it less bright but still visible at night as it is in the bedroom. 9.99 out of 10 though. Happy days.

nice low cost, adequate monitor, Invasive app
It certainly reports all the things it states. Happy to see it states accuracy which is certainly not lab standrds, but is fine for domestic use. I wantnted to log temperature and humidity but also check Carbon dioxide since we've been feeling tired recently - CO2 is 5% tollerance +-50ppm which sounds quite poor, but realluy we just need to know if the reading (should be about 400-800) is at the top of the reange and becoming a problem - it appears not, we have slight fluctuations but always around 450-500. The PM2.5 looks to be a little off compared to an air purifier we have, but not far. overall for the low price I think this is a handy device for general checking and use. I wouldn't use it as a safety device but for a quick sanity check aroung the home or office it is just what is needed. It keeps the data and uploads to the phone. Sadly like many of these devvices it wants access to your location and also for you to register an log-in. There is no excuse for such invasion of privacy - fortunately the phone app works fully on trial mode. Display is nice an clear, importantly it turns off after a small delay. The battery is inadequate - I charged it fully and it lasted less than a day - I keep it plugged in all the time - what is the point of the battery if it lasts so little.

Not worth buying. Pay more for better.
This is not very accurate against over more expensive equipment, which i guess is to be expected. Has a shockingly short battery life. It takes longer to charge than it lasts. Also overheats during that charge and thus gives off further inaccurate readings in terms of temperature and RH readings. Will be returning unfortunately.

More like a prototype device
I didn't have mega high hopes for such a seemingly cheap item, but there are aspects of this device that are just poor. Firstly the good stuff: It's well built, the screen isn't too bad and the connection to WiFi appears strong. The way you can use the temperature and humidity to control other devices within the app is great. You can also get alerts if the temperature falls too much, for example. Now the not so good: By going on the app you cannot get an instant temperature reading. The most frequent you can select is every 5 minutes, but if you do this the batteries won't even last a week. Moving onto the subject of batteries, the remaining battery percentage is so innacurate. It alarmed at me and said 0% battery and yet continued to work for another 3 days! Running such a hungry device on three AAA cells is a mistake and surely an option for continued USB power wouldn't have been hard to fit in. The fact that the app comes preprogrammed to read the temperature and humidity every 2 hours says it all to me - they knew the battery life sucked but released the product anyway. I now have it reading every 15 minutes to preserve some juice. The accuracy seems okay but I haven't anything to fully disprove it and it's not a major issue for my usage. The integration into Google Home isn't all that's it's cracked up to be. I can add it as a device on there but without any useful features, only ask it what is the temperature or humidity. All of the clever stuff happens within the app, which is okay, no biggy. Overall would I buy it again? Not right now; I'd wait for a MK2 with USB power option.

Easy to set up and seems to work
I don’t normally buy things with only 3-4 reviews but this seemed to be what I wanted at a price I was willing to pay, and I’ve now bought two. In terms of set up, the instructions do seem to be slightly off as they refer to a flashing flight on the unit which I could not find. But, once I had downloaded the app and set it searching for new devices (which was easy, and covered in the instructions) all I had to do was press and hold the buttons on top of the unit until the WiFi indicator on the unit start cycling between low and high. After a few seconds of doing this it connected fine and is now stable. I have one in my garage office and one in my garage gym. Both seem to be working and I can see the temps from app when I’m in the house, no problem. I have no other thermometers against which to compare but the readings feel accurate based on the weather outside (no heating in the garage). The humidity also seems to be about right, but I’ve no idea if it is scientifically right. All in all, though, I’m very happy with this item and I’d recommend it. It does what I wanted, and the price is reasonable.

Easy to integrate with Alexa
Bought this to add to my existing 3 sensors, a different model no longer available. As well as the normal temperature and humidity, this one also has date/time,vwhich I didn't need, but is useful enough. The device connected to Alexa via the SmartLife app, which is easy to set up. One minor grumble. Both this device and my previous ones record both temperature and humidity, and these can be read in the SmartLife app. But only the temperature is accessible to Alexa. This is not a fault of the device - I think the issue is with Alexa - but it is irritating anyway

Bought this as a redundant eye to my WiFi thermostat while away for extended time at home in Mexico. Has been slightly different in reading from thermostat in both temperature and humidity, but stays consistent. Always was able to check away. Has been reliable. Recommended

Super gemakkelijk. Een aanrader

This is a relatively expensive, but well worth the money air quality monitor. I don't have the test equipment to validate the accuracy of all the various measurements. What I did do is compare it to several other air quality measurement instruments I have here, and they all agreed within 10 or 15% of the values. A few of the readings, like the CO2 reading was probably particularly accurate since they all agreed with each other closely on that. What I truly like about it, and what makes it worth a few extra bucks, is the WiFi connection. We travel a lot across the country. I love being in California, and as long as I have WiFi or cell service, I can be watching the temp and humidly, as well as the other measurements in our home back on the east coast in real time.
