Kenetrek Mountain Extreme 1000 Hiking Boot with 1000 gram Thinsulate Insulation

Just got a pair of these right before Elk season, I wore them around the house and shop for a couple of days only. Treated them with 2 generous coats of Sno Seal then went to the mountians. they were comfortable right from the start! They gave me (a 66 year old man with 2 artifical knees) the confidence to side hill around 6000 ft ridges, dig the heels in and go straight down mountian sides. They worked on wet logs without slipping, crossed creeks on moss covered rocks, and kept my feet warm and dry. Then it snowed, and, I was able to walk up and down mountian sides without slipping. These are without question the finest pair of boots I have ever owned!

These are the ferrari of boots, you just can't explain the difference without experiencing it. Made in Italy, the fit is so much better than the one size fits most you get in the states. I wear these for work, hunting, and everyday in between. Kenetrek customer service is second to none. Lightweight, durable, waterproof, great traction, built for western hunting in steep terrain, and walking 20 miles a day. This translates well for anything where you are on your feet all day, climbing ladders etc. Better than i expected

Well worth the price! Fitted like a glove straight out of the box. I'm size 9. However, I ordered size 9.5 as I wear thick wool socks in my hunts - perfect fit! Well made, excellent ankle support and waterproof. Get the Kenetrek boot wax; a must!

My foot measures a size 8 on a brannock device. I ordered a 9.5 boot and it was extremely tight on my foot. Luckily a local boot store traded me a size 10. Nobody should have to use two full sized bigger in a boot.

Expensive boots but extremely comfortable, durable and most importantly warm and worth every penny.

Lightweight and warm!

The boots fit perfectly, I really don't have them broken in yet but they are very comfortable. Also they are diffently waterproof I wore them all day in wet snow and my feet were dry at the end of the day.

I own many boots, work, hike, hunt. Rolled the dice… all i can say is WOW!!! I am almost 62, bad knees etc. when i wear these boots hunting i feel 27 again & can climb any mtn! & pay the piper later! Spend the cake! You wont regret it! You cant take it with you! You can thank me later. Good hunting to you!
