Draw-Tite 75607 Max-Frame Receiver

according to my research this draw-tite hitch (receiver) will out perform it's specs. it appears to be an easy install (according to YouTube vids) but I need an extra set of strong arms for the install. It is currently doubling as an exercise (curling) item. fast shipping, can't wait to get it installed

This is the second one I’ve bought but for good reason. The first one got damaged in an accident but because of the hitch along with the spare tire behind it managed to take a 40 mph impact and drive away. Old hitch could’ve been reused but had straightened and I’m sure lost strength l. I can definitely say I’ve pulled plenty with it though such as a pontoon boats, flatbeds with cars, and a seedling trailer. I’ve probably overloaded it a few times. It’s a two person job to install any way you do it and a bottle jack will make install much easier. All bolts line up well as I know this can be a problem with other brands.

The hitch looks nice after installed. Not very noticeable since the main bracket sits behind the bumper. Hints to make the installation easy 1) balance a 2x2 on floor jack then balance the hitch on the 2x2. Slid the hitch under the truck in position then raised it up till holes aligned aligned on one side and partially install bolts. Then support the other side with a jack stand and reposition floor jack. 2). To install the bolts and its anti-rotation bracket in the frame channel, fish them through the far hole. The hole closest is too small for the bolt. Took me less than 1 hour to install.

The product itself if fine. Works great and is a great reliable brand. However, mine was shipped missing bolts required for mounting. I got the support number from my order and made the phone call. The person I spoke to told me I had the wrong department and transferred me to the correct one. Nobody ever answered. I then decided to just try emailing them. I still have yet to hear from them. I ended up having to drive to a specialty hardware store an hour away from my house just to purchase one single bolt to get this thing mounted. It works great. Just very frustrating to not get all of the required parts shipped with it and not get any support whatsoever from the manufacturer.
