This is a very high quality central vacuum for the price. I wasn't really planning on doing a built in system but for the cost of this unit I decided to go for it. I installed it in my garage for vacuuming out cars, mainly. The vacuum this thing pulls is amazing. Easily hangs on the wall and plugs into to a nearby socket. You won't be sorry if you buy one of these. It does the job with overkill. What a great value in a garage vacuum!

I purchased this to use as a "shop" vacuum and this thing is terrific. It easily has 2 to 3 times the suction of the Fein shop vac it is replacing.I have a small woodworking shop and having a shop vac taking up floor space was a pain plus I had to constantly move it around and connect it to various pieces of equipment.I mounted this vacuum in the adjoining garage and plumbed thru the wall into the shop and then ran vacuum piping around perimeter of room and used blast gates where desired.This vacuum works terrific and could not be happier.Note: I also installed a "cyclonic" dust separator prior to the vacuum so that vacuum functions correctly and does not receive the shop saw dust and chips.

After retrofitting all the pipe and 4 inlets in my new house and setting the vac on the garage wall I went to test the vac and plugged in the 30’ hose. Nothing turned on. So I started troubleshooting, I manually turned on each inlet with a piece of copper between the terminals. The vac fired up on each inlet. Called customer service and while the person on the phone was attentive they weren’t very helpful and told me to email. I sent an email but have yet to hear back. Will update review if issues resolved

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my parents. My moms 8 year old shark bit the dust and I thought of buying them each a Dyson but decided a central vac was the way to go and was super easy to install and powerful for a compact unit and my parents love it. And they have three inlets in their home and can reach every nook and cranny well worth the money.

just finished installing, simple and easy. i would have given 5 stars, but the directions are terrible and poorly written. not sure if that's because the company is in montreal, or the the unit is made in china. it is very quiet, with a simple bag replacement proceedure. suction is better than our 12 year old nutone that it replaced, even though they are both rated the same. this is the smallest unit, and is plenty big for our 3,000 square foot house.

This was areplacement for a30 year old unit, it works fine.

The motor appears to be very tight as it kicks the breaker every few minutes. Hope with some use, the problem will dissepear. Well it didn't. Called and emailed the company numerous times. No response. Yesterday, I called and got a live person. Was told to undo the instalation, put it in a box and ship it for repair. Explained that I had it installed (paid 150}, and I don't have the box. Was told I would be called today, but no call yet. They offered to send me a new motor and circut board for me to install.This is one company I would suggest you stay FAR AWAY FROM.
