Works great! I bought one for myself. Very handy m. Easy to assemble and use. Bought a second one for my Sonny boy. He has scoliosis. And he would roll around on the floor to get his socks off! He has a sock puller, but only puts them. I was heart broken to hear he needed something to take his socks off. I wish I knew sooner!

Extremely helpful for my senior mother, helping her put on her socks, get dressed and reach for things. She loves it.. We’ve actually ordered two more to keep one in her bathroom one in her bedroom and one by her recliner. ;)

Strong wood, strong hooks. Best of this type available and at a great price.

This thing worked reasonably well for helping after a leg injury and being laid up in bed. The good: * The bent, plastic covered end was great for helping to take off socks, reach up and snag/pull on a light/fan pull cord, and I could also use it to pull over a leg stand milk crate by my bed. * The hook end was useful to reach a window shade pull cord as well. The average: * I don't love the metal hook. I'm not sure what it's really good for other than pulling on a cord. I'm sure there's plenty of other uses, but I'm not sure getting dressed is one of them. It's too sharp on its edges to use for pulling on things like socks. (MAYBE if using socks with pull loops, and using two of these, but otherwise, not really.) So I thought it was just a potentially annoying and even risky slightly sharp edged thing lying around. Overall, it was useful for me for my injury and I'd get it again. But I think I might just file down the edges of the metal end.

I am 5'2" with closet bars too tall to reach. this dressing, stick is perfect, saving me from standing on tiptoes or a ladder. Having fallen off a ladder wants this stick is perfect. I highly recommend it for anyone who has trouble reaching clothes whose racks are too tiered.
