It's difficult to get this in the proper position, especially if you have glasses. If you're in a hurry, forget it. I found it surprisingly thin, but it did a good job of keeping me warm. I think the one size fits all is part of the issue, it wouldn't cover my nose, but no instructions or even good pictures of how to wear it. No lining. It fit too tight on me, someone else may not have issues. My head is shaved and I have extreme doubts that it would function well for someone with a lot of hair.
