I've used this brand for 5 years now and I'm always so impressed by it. I'm always terrified I'll run out so I always keep another full container on hand. It has amazing coverage, works well when mixed with vodka for handpainting and is stunning to look at the sparkle. It definitely is airborne as soon as you open it so expect to be covered in gold and your kitchen to be covered in gold. It can be hard to wash off sometimes. The container size is worth the price and it goes a long way.

Result 100 stars But gets everywhere 4 stars Best edible dust yet. Great pigment even dry. Even better diluted in alcohol. Water works nit as well but works in a pinch. I even put it in a little cup and if I don't use it all diluting again produces the same result. For painting sugar cookies I recommend a thicker mixture. But a a little goes a long way eith this powder!!!

It's a very good gold powder for cake decorating. Its color and shine don't fade and it highlights the decoration.

I used this to make a few things gold on some cake decorations, it worked great! I put some in a small container & brought a brush with me to the set up so if I smudged it during cake set up I could touch up (since it does come off easily when touched, that was best to keep things pretty!). With the powder I painted a gold quidditch ball made of white modeling chocolate, stenciled the name on the cake, colored both white & regular chocolate, bush powdered (carefully) some onto frosting flowers (make sure they're very cold so it doesn't squish the flower), & added vodka to a small container with it to paint it on the tiki heads in the pic. Also nice that you can powder thickly to make really gold or lightly to just give a little sparkle or texture. When used thickly it can help hide it if the chocolate turns kinda white after refridgerating too- when I was trying to hurry & couldn't wait to let it set on the counter so threw it in the fridge, it hid the mottled white that appeared on some... I sprinkled some on an eclair & added some gold stars.. I really like this product! Fun to use!
