I have a 12 year old American Stafford Shire Terrier. She is allergic to dog food. I make her Turkey with Carrots, Spinach and Corn flakes.. That was working okay, but I was recommended this by my veterinarian. When I first started adding this to her food like many others. She got the poops and very runny sometimes. However, I would use less than they recommend. I use a quarter scoop in the morning in a quarter scoop in the evening. She's about thirty to forty pounds. I think that's about the right combination. She does not have runny poops anymore. Ever since we started giving it to her, the puppy in her has erupted. She is so happy, content and playful. In the 8 years I've had her shes never had this much energy. Worth the money. Would recommend!

I have been making dog food for a year or so and the supplements are part of the recipe, my vet said that she was very pleased that I made the choice of this , I can see the benefits and effectiveness of the easy to add with a scoop included. It cost a little bit more than some other options and brands.

This supplement gave my 1-year-old Cavalier terrible diarrhea. I spent so much money on vet visits, tests, and medications trying to figure out what was wrong. I had him on a bland diet, and as soon as he got better, I tried giving this again and the diarrhea came right back. I stopped it immediately, and by the next day, he was fine. It was clearly the cause. I later saw other reviews saying the same thing. I wish I had seen those sooner. Please be careful!!

Had to revisit ingredients because our pup has kidney disease and Vitamin D and A builds up in the kidneys and can be more toxic to a pup w health problems such as kidney disease. But this product is quality otherwise and benefits those wanting additional vitamins for their pup when you are feeding a more home cooked or raw diet.
