Selected this based on several good reviews, just installed this week. Seems very sturdy and install took just a few minutes. Using it for a heavy duty outdoor curtain, tension against painted wood so hopefully it will withstand storms. We like the button setting to lock in the length, only drawback is our wall width is right between 2 of the settings so it might be an odd fit over time, but we do like that it has this locking feature and seems like it will hold the weight of lined outdoor curtains well.

Have had up for several months with no slipping or sagging. Looks great and fit perfectly inside the recess. Excellent value for the price point. Going to order another for front window. Very satisfied with this purchase. 11/25 UPDATE: This tension rod has outperformed my expectations. Still holding strong with no bowing or slipping as shown in my pictures.
