I’ve got multiple herniated discs (L4-L5 and L5-S1) and have tried at least 10 different braces over the years. This is the only one that actually worked. It let me keep working while taking enough pressure off my spine to start healing — game changer. Tips for best results: • Wear an undershirt tucked into your underwear under the brace, then a shirt over the top — otherwise it’s uncomfortable and very visible. • Hand wash only to keep it in good shape. Also has a little pad you can Velcro off to wash individually • The internal support wires lasted me about 9–12 months, but I’m very physically active in construction, so lighter use might get you more life out of it. If you’ve been frustrated trying other braces, this one’s worth it. YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO GET THE RIGHT SIZE! I’m 6’4 250 and an xl works for me, large actually aggravated my injury for months, and xxl did absolutely nothing because it was too big.

Rolls up from bottom and top. I have not been able to keep it open in the areas I need it. I am heavy in my waist area and it just does not provide the support for me.
