Prescott's Microbiology

This book does an excellent job of going into depth about the topics covered in my class. Several figures give more details than in previous editions. One drawback is that this edition does not have the essays that were in the older edition. Those essays were extremely helpful for making connections for class. Also, this edition is extremely expensive however,amazon was much cheaper than my local bookstore.

Good book that does a good job explaining the various disgusting things that live in and around us on a daily basis. The book sometimes got too detailed for me on certain subjects but overall it was a good book and helpful. Micro can be hard but this book was able to talk about things in an understandable way.

Classic microbiology textbook for any BIOL majors

I remember this book from college and it was useful and concise.

The book did not come with an access card as described. Luckily, I didn't care about the access card and just wanted the book. It's still pretty crappy that they falsely advertised though.

This is a good read for upper level microbiology. The book is well organized, straight forward, and explains the content well. A useful resource for anyone who teaches upper level science courses.

Had a bad start mainly becaus my mailman didn't deliever it to the right house. Contacted textbook warehouse and had another book the next day.. I was in utter happines. I would reccomend tgem to anyone. Tjhe book came the next day in good shape as well..

This book is perfect. My microbiology professor suggested a series of books, including this one. The book hasa lot of good detail and is written so that anyone with basic bio background will understand it. I am glad I paid what I paid, I saved myself 100 bucks.

I bought this book for my mentee and I will say it is a must for every student taking microbiology courses. It is easy to read and understand. It is a great start for aspiring microbiologists.Express delivery by the seller made the purchase even more satisfying. Great service.
