I did mine with just a utility razor blade but as Warren said a hacksaw might be good, so I think it might be too soft for that.

Q: do you have brown color?

Mine is 1 3/4 inches and it’s a tight fit, I’d guess it will work

The bottom is flexible and soft. I don’t think it would.
