I dyed my hair for years with chemical dyes. It used to literally fall out after every dye job. I'm done with that now. I absolutely love Light Mountain Natural's Auburn henna shade. I usually mix it with strawberry yogurt and let it sit on my hair for 3-5 hours. I end up with a beautiful light red/auburn color. I redo it about every three months and the color generally lasts very well. However, I do not use shampoos with sulfates, so i'm sure that helps. I highly recommend trying henna. My hair feels amazing after I use it, very strong and like I basically grew all new hair. I blow dry and straighten my hair daily, so using something healthy like this is very important to the overall health of my hair. It needs to be as strong as possible to deal with the heat styling. I just love this brand of henna and the color. Will continue to buy either on Amazon or directly from Light Mountain's website.

Always my henna of choice. I have allergies and this is the only product which is all natural without any chemicals added. The color is perfect for me, and after a couple of weeks it makes my grays look like very natural highlights. Once a month is when I use it for best color maintenance.

This is the best hair color for auburn or red heads. Discovered during Covid and am glad I did.

PROS: I'm grateful for a non-chemical hair dying solution. Good value for price. CONS: MESSY! Can't they figure out a better way to prepare and apply this stuff? Maybe a tube syringe or something similar. It gets everywhere. The gloves included may fit a small child but do not fit normal hands. Because it's so messy it not only gets on the counter, the walls, but gets on your skin, face, etc and dyes those areas too. The instructions included are too huge and overwhelming. Think it's time to upgrade the application of this. Maybe a shower cap and syringe application where it goes through the cap. I've seen similar used for dying. Isolation and concentrated application. Alright, so this was my first henna-hair experience and it was pretty unfortunate. First off, the process of mixing up the dye, waiting for it to cure, then ladeling the foul-smelling mixture in to my scalp was less than optimal. I could get past the annoyance if it had actually colored my hair, but it didnt. i had a clean head when i started and expected a burnt golden color. Instead the "auburn" turned out as greenish dark blonde, not auburn. The worst part is by far the smell. Oh jesus christ on a bike. This smells like a stagnated swamp. I've washed my hair twice since dyeing it and i still reek. My hair feels heavy and knotted and smells like i rubbed mold into it. Next time i'll definitely go for the bright red color because it's the favorite of anyone who has used this brand. If you're debating whether or not to go for auburn or red: GO FOR RED. I started out as a natural blonde and now my hair looks so sad and dull. My heart hurts thinking that i spent any money on this.

Box was very very beat up, almost as if it definitely wasn’t new. Worked good and liked the outcome.

It's not an auburn color. I have blonde hair according to the packaging I should have red hair. I have a really dark hair color vs the red color i paid for. >:(

My hair felt great after use & coverage was great. Really messy though, but it was first time using so hopefully next time will be better
