This is a beautiful set! It is medium to almost light weight, but not in a cheap feeling in the hand kind of way. The edges are nice and smooth as opposed to some rough cut silverware that you would find in some cheaper restaurants. I haven’t owned the set for very long and only handwash all of my dishes. So far there is no sign of fade or wear. There can be some water spots if they air dry, but that doesn’t bother me, as I know they are clean and would come out the same if washed in a dishwasher (but may wear faster). If I really feel the pressure to have spotless flatware, I’ll guess I would hand dry them. While I have not had an issue, Berglander appears to stand behind its products. They included a quality guarantee certificate that looks and feels similar to a credit card, with an individual number on it. The silverware came in a rather small, relatively plain, slightly dated box compared to anything you would find in a store. I do not have an issue with the packaging whatsoever, but I had seen some reviews where people marked a product down one or more stars because the packaging basically wasn’t a display case. Whether the set is for yourself or a gift, don’t mark it down because of the packaging. No one but miserable people with nothing better to complain about will give a rip about the packaging in a very short amount of time. There is contact information stating to use it if there are any issues with quality. I am including pics of the set, the warranty certificate card, and the packaging. Overall, I am very happy with this set and would buy again.

We dont have a dishwasher so cant attest to longevity in that sense, but they look great and have held up well so far with lots of use and frequent handwashing. Nice basic functional set for our family of 2 and the gold matches the rest of our kitchen perfectly

Love this silverware set. Although, since I have had this set the sticker in the handle is starting to peel. I have had this for about 6 months now. That is the only issue. I didn’t even know that the meteorite detail was a sticker 😞

They are beautiful and good quality

The Berglander rose-gold plated set is, unfortunately, the most disappointing purchase I've made on Amazon. The packaging and silverware were an all-around unpleasant experience, and I will be making a refund request for this product. Do note that this product is made in China, as specified on the box packaging, but the Amazon store does not offer this information on the product's page. The packaging itself came with a weird odor and stench, and I was immediately displeased with the unboxing experience. But the box that it comes with isn't the most displeasing part of the product: the silverware is downright comical in quality. It is made of sturdy stainless steel, as advertised, but the rose-gold coating has started to both fade and chip from the base metal straight out of the packaging. Flakes of metallic dust covered the entirety of the package's interior, and it had me worried about even washing and using the utensils, as I'm sure we can all agree with one thing: digesting rose-gold coating wouldn't be the most positive experience. I won't be purchasing any products from Berglander in the future, and I hope everyone reconsiders, as well, because no one should have to deal with inferior quality when it comes to something we put in our mouths.

I bought two sets of these back in May 2021. They have been used as the main utensils on a daily basis ever since. I and my four children 10yrs to 17 yrs use them. They have been dropped and scooted and used to stir things and they get cleaned in a dishwasher every day. The color is still the same as when i got them, they aren’t scratched or peeling or fading in any way. They are well-balanced, have a good weight, not bulky and are very sturdy. None have bent yet. They look good as a place setting. One funny thing is when my mom came to visit, she kept thinking they were plastic ware and was surprised they weren’t every time she picked them up. I highly recommend these!

I first ordered these in 2020. The tips finally showed wear with some of the color coming off on more used pieces like forks. So I purchased several sets again. We use them as our every day flatware although they are pretty enough to be the "Sunday best" set! We put them in the dishwasher

Yo compré los cubiertos color oro rosa y llegaron envalados decentemente, quizas un poco desepcionante su empaque por que honestamente no era lo que esperaba pero debo decir que es un muy buen producto en relacion con su precio, son muy bonitos a la vista y la calidad va acorde a ello, son mas delgados que lo normal pero sin llegar a doblarse y además no es algo que afecte a la hora de usarlos, si hay que tomar en cuenta que al lavarlos si no se secan pronto se manchan, creo que es el único detalle que les encontré, de ahi en fuera todo excelente, tanto que volví a pedir otro juego...
