An all around good choice for your Kindle
I bought this case to go with my recently purchased (and first ever) Kindle. As I've never owned a Kindle before I've never needed a case for one either, so I really have nothing to compare it to... having said that I think this case is great! It helps protect the Kindle plus it gives a "real book" reading experience. It made my transition to eReader easier. You can either fold the cover behind to hold the Kindle one handed (like a Kindle) or you can use it to emulate a physical book experience by holding it like a paperback.Very easy to wipe clean, securely holds the Kindle, reasonably priced, an all around good choice. I whole heartedly recommend this case - I got the neon green color because it stands out and I thought it less likely that I might walk off and leave it sitting somewhere (as I've done with my black cell phone more than once).

Also fits 10th generation kindle
I was pleasantly surprised to find this fits my 10th generation kindle as cases like this especially with the white borders are hard to find. The auto sleep/wake function does not work but I’m guessing that has to do with it being a different generation because while the case snaps into place easily, it is clear the edges are differently shapes. It works perfectly for what I need though and is very secure on my kindle.

Dependable, outside wears over time
First off I would recommend this is you just want a simple practical case and you don't care if it wears a bit. I haven't tested how well this case protects the kindle on impacts other than having dropped my kindle a few times. I've had this case on my kindle for a couple of years now and the outside is soft enough that anything that presses into it or scratches it will leave a mark so after a couple of years of being put into backpacks with school supplies and purses with various items it shows. The kindle is in perfect condition though so that's what's important. The other thing that I'm not super jazzed about is that it is almost impossible to remove - actually I still haven't managed it yet so it could indeed be impossible!

Folds back
The cover folds all of the way back so you don't have to hold it open. No wear after a couple of weeks of heavy use with the cover bent backwards. Kindle snaps in easily and doesn't move around at all. Auto wake/sleep feature is great. No problems charging with the case still on. All in all, great for the price!

My child can take it to school & use it for AR reading!
I bought this for my daughter for her 10th bday since she flys through books. She absolutely loves it. All the books upload without any issues. She's able to take it to school since it doesn't have any aps/distractions, she reads it 4 nights a week, plus at school and sometimes in the car and with all that usage a single charge lasted 2 weeks. We've only had it 2 weeks but so far no complaints here!

Loving This Case
We chose the butterfly case for my daughters Kindle. She loves it, the case pink with greens, blues and some orange really cute. The case is a hard plastic. I believe it will protect the Kindle well. The inside cover has a soft velvet texture so not to scratch the screen. It stays closed, there’s like a magnet that keeps it closed. We love the case!

Cheap case, but it does the job
This cover is... okay. I only bought it because the official Amazon covers were on backorder, but now I wish I had just waited until those were available. The case itself is good: it fits my new Kindle perfectly, the magnetic closure is nice, and I do love the green color. But the material it's made out of feels cheap. Really cheap. Just out of the box it already had a few imperfections, and I fear those are only going to get worse. I'd only recommend this case if you want something to hold your Kindle in, but don't care at all about looks. As for myself, I'm going to hold onto it for a while, but will probably be upgrading to the Amazon covers soon enough.
