Very tasty - nice big mushrooms - packaging was great - would order again.

My hubby use to talk about picking Morels every year. I saw these and ordered and surprised him. He loves them. They arrive in dry ice and perfectly packaged. I would.order again however I do.feel they are pricey.

Came very fast for the distance (4 days) they were froze solid in four 1lb bags, pretty good for traveling 2250 miles to my home in Michigan. Nice size to, from med to even some large, mostly blacks. They grow locally if you can find them, to buy fresh here they are 80.00 per pound, these look just as good for around 57.00 with shipping. Ordered again so just updating the review, just as happy the second time around!

I had them in the French alps long ago but I am more familiar with porcini and truffles. I do know that texture to fresh mushrooms is best found in frozen as opposed to rehydrated, these were a rare find delivered frozen. Best with beef sautéed frozen (don't thaw before use) in pan with beef juices, peppercorns and if it is preferred cream and cognac not to much to overpower the mushroom flavor.

These are awesome! I use them in quite a few recipes and also fry them as delicious meaty appetizers!
