NOW Solutions, Vitamin C and Oryza Sativa Gentle Scrub, Brightening System, Gentle Mild Exfoliation for Daily Use 4-Ounce

I've used two of these skin brightening washes in the shower on my face . I love the smell and the soft feeling my skin has after use. No sticky residue left behind and, I feel like its a naturally product I can feel good about using. Note I have sensitive skin with eczema and it doesn't bother my skin at all.

I love this. It's very different. I didn't think it would work since I feel hardly any abrasiveness from it, but it's a terrific exfoliant. The next day after the first use my skin was mildly peeling and was brighter and smoother and the effect lasts all day. I love this company! Super clean, non-toxic ingredients, inexpensive, and their stuff works. This is just another example of why I love NOW brand. Will definitely continue to purchase this!

Really felt good on my skin.

I buy a lot of Now products and know that the quality is very high. I tried this product on my face, following the directions and for some reason I broke out in a rash. Something in the vitamin C & oryza Sativa gentle scrub just didn't agree with me. I have very sensitive skin.

It broke my skin out the very first time I used it. Not only that it didn't feel like it cleaned my skin but it also felt weird, like made me want to clean it again with something else. I own a vitamin c toner by the same brand and that one is fantastic, so I don't know what to think, why does my skin have a problem with this one.

I settled on this product as an exfoliator because of it's low toxicity, according to the Environmental Working Group's Cosmetic Safety Database. The ingredients are much safer than other exfoliators, which is great. The rice bran is also gentler than other mechanical exfoliants like walnut or apricot seed powder. On one hand, this is less damaging to skin, but on the other, I don't feel quite as clean and scrubbed. It also doesn't feel like it totally rinses off without a washcloth; it feels as thought a bit of residue is left behind on the skin. However, I feel that about pretty much all of the exfoliators I've tried. I just follow it with my normal facial cleanser ( Kiss My Face Start Face Wash - 4 oz. which feels like it gets the residue off. It has a mild, pleasant citrus smell and is creamy. Overall, I would recommend it, just don't expect it to be quite like an apricot scrub.

I love this scrub. I've tried many different organic scrubs and this is by far the best. It doesn't feel like I'm washing my face with sand, but it gets all the dead skin off easily. It smells fantastic. I have noticed a great improvement in my skin. The tone is more even (I used to be so red around my T zone) and it feels so soft. I don't use it every day, more like every other. Another great product from Now Foods.

I really wanted to like this, needed a gentle scrub and this formula sounded great. The “fragrance “ is awful. Maybe purchasing from manufacturer rather than Amazon? Smells like the citrus scent has gone bad, weird faded chemical smell.
