This is a nice quality mug and a very bright red! I have not had it long, but so far, it has met many of my expectations ... but ...... it is also quite small - less than 8 ounces. I was surprised when I opened up the box, and slightly disappointed, quite frankly.The mug feels quite robust, and the seal seems very strong, so I don't worry about leaks. I am not sure how much I will use it long-term, though, because the size is a big deal for me. I like having a good-sized mug for my coffee in the morning, so we'll see.

This 6 ounce cup is equipped with a screw top lid which in turn has a flip top sipping port and a small air vent to make using easier. Filling the cup with water, securing the flip top and screwing down the lid, then inverting the cup onto a paper towel resulted in no leaking after one hour. The cup interior liner is made from Grade 316 stainless steel and therefore inert to any liquids which might be corrosive such as apple cider or soda pop.
