I was skeptical about this dehumidifier, but it actually works effectively. I bought this for my bathroom bc our rental home bathroom vent doesn’t work efficiently and we have a lot of moisture in a small space. I noticed a difference if I don’t plug this in when I shower and I leave it on day and night. It will automatically shut off once the water it’s absorbed reaches a certain level. It’s very quiet, doesn’t take up much space. It’s pretty durable I’ve knocked down a few times. Super easy to empty. I’ll probably purchase another for our bed rooms. And the lighting makes it a solid night light for our bathroom, it’s not too bright or dull- definitely a sweet spot. Doesn’t have any hard water stains though out the machine.

KNKA Dehumidifier Arrived well packaged. At first I was surprised by the size and weight. I don’t believe it weighs much over 5 pounds and it’s only 14” x 8” x 6”. I tried it out in my basement which is a much larger area than the unit is designed for. The temperature was running around 64 degrees (not ideal) and humidity measured 64% on two humidistats. Plugged it in and let it run for 24 hours, collected a cup and a half of water, and it also lowered the humidity 2%. Actually that is pretty good for a unit that only uses 80 watts of power and considering the cool working temperature for it. My older large Frigedaire unit just ices up at that temp. The KNKA is super quiet and even quieter in night mode. The tank has a led light that you can set to change color randomly, pick your favorite color, or shut off. The rotating colors are pretty cool, if you put the unit in the dark. The pros are it is quiet, very energy efficient, and does the job for a small room. I could use more than one and it sure beats my icing up Frigedaire unit. Cons are that it is not really for a whole basement, probably unless you use more than one, but it will keep the moisture down and use a lot less electricity. I’m surprised at the efficiency and it’s ability for its size, very happy!

I've had it for well over a year and it's still going strong. We have pretty humid summers in Michigan and I live in a basement apartment to boot. It works well in my living room/kitchen/dining room, about 500 square feet. It runs nearly constantly all summer and hasn't skipped a beat. The times I've had it in my bedroom have been pleasant due to the nighttime feature.

This dehumidifier is a sleek little workhorse. It also arrived in one day, which was a quicker ship than I am used to. Our downstairs bathroom has an ineffective fan. Every morning, our showers steam it up to the point of water dripping down the painted walls, and we get mold spots if we don’t physically towel it off, which is an ongoing pain. We bought this unit to help decrease the dampness and mustiness that lingers downstairs, and it is really pulling the moisture for us. It is very lightweight and compact. You could easily tuck it under one arm and transport it anywhere in the house. Everyone who sees it, asks what it is and likes house small and cute it is in our bathroom. The dehumidifier was extremely simple to set up. When you first plug it in, the white light flashes for a minute. After that, the light goes solid and the LED turns on inside. You can hear a quiet whirring of the fan, but nothing as loud as a normal bathroom fan or electric toothbrush would be. There is the option to put it in sleep mode during the day which turns off the light and makes the operation super quiet. In the video I posted, it is not in sleep mode, so that can help you gauge the volume. The buttons on top are more like fingertip-sensing buttons than clickable buttons, so there is no concern of moisture getting around them. The LED acts as a built-in nightlight in our bathroom, so that has been nice for the kids at night. I attached a video to show how the LED goes through different light-cycle colors, but if there is one color you prefer, you can set it to a specific color of your choice. The water container takes up about half of the back so it does not need to be changed too frequently. It is easier to pull out and empty than a standard vacuum container, and it pours clean without dripping everywhere. I am really happy we purchased this. It is going to save our walls and help the downstairs from having that perpetual musty smell.

Works pretty well, especially at first. However, it's hard to clean and when dust gets into the cracks, it reduces functionality. Overall, I'm glad I got it and it definitely has helped with the humid Michigan summers. Currently, I keep it in my restroom to reduce moisture, as my partner and I both take hot showers that leave a lot of steam. It helps significantly with that and our restroom dries quickly, significantly reducing bacteria and insect life. With all of that being said, I like that it has a night mode which decreases how strong it works, as I've left it in regular mode and waken up with a sore throat from the dry air. It's definitely better to have something that does the job so well with the option to reduce strength or close the door to limit which area is affected than to have something that doesn't work well. Good value for the money.

I opened up and started using my new dehumidifier. I chose the KNKA .95 OZ Dehumidifier. It was very well protected in the manufacturers packaging and is in perfect great looking shape. The beautiful sleek look and compact size gives me the opportunity to easily move it to different locations around my house if needed. I really like how simple it is to operate and the ease of use. The supplied instructions were easy to follow and well written. It has quick off and on buttons, and daytime and night time modes. Comes with automatic shut off features and it lets you know when it is full. A nice added touch is that it comes with is the ability of using ambient lighting if you want! Great pastel colors of red, blue, green, purple, yellow, and orange add a nice subtle feel to the very, very quiet operation of it. You don’t even know it’s on! This compact dehumidifier is super quiet. I use it in my bedroom to lower the moisture from the humid weather. It has helped a lot and my room even smells better! It also has a very easy and convenient tank that is so easy to empty and it slides back in seconds and then it automatically restarts back up again. I have noticed a big difference since I started using it and I am sleeping better and my room doesn’t feel as humid and sticky as before. I’m gonna also use it to help me get rid of that musty smell in my closets and my pantry room that the humidity can cause sometimes. It’s so easy to unplug and move, it will be a cinch! To me, it was a great purchase and I don’t think you will be disappointed in getting one too. I sure am happy with it!

It held up well and it did its job. However after not even a full year, it has stopped working. One day it just started flashing and beeping and wouldn’t start again. So sadly this product doesn’t last more than 10 months. I gave it three stars because for the months that it did work it was great. But a product like this should last longer.

I’ve owned a number of humidifiers of different brands over the years, but I have to say this one is a great combination of style and function, at an excellent price point. The unit comes well packaged, and when opened reveals a small form-factor unit with a bit of style - curving shapes and a mix of white plastic, clear plastic, and aluminum that will fit with any decor. I was really pleased to see that the unit was equipped with a standard AC plug; no ugly and outlet-blocking wall wart like some other units use. The control panel is incredibly easy to understand; I didn’t even need to read the directions to be able to fully use the unit. As for function, the unit has a large reservoir and excellent dehumidifying element. The moment I first turned it on it began dropping water into the reservoir and making my house more comfortable. The unit is also equipped with color-changing lights for the reservoir which gives off a nice comforting glow in a darkened room. You can easily adjust it to switch between colors automatically, or lock it to a favorite color if you wish (you can also turn off the lights entirely if you want). As with any fan operated appliance, the unit in “maximum” dehumidify mode is a bit noisy, but there is a one-touch “sleep” button that makes it much more quiet at night. One small drawback is that in “sleep” mode the lights are turned off automatically, so if you want to use it as a night-light, you need to use the noisier “maximum” mode. Lastly, the unit is a “plug and forget it” type of appliance. Once turned on, you can leave it for days without intervention, and the unit will stop automatically once the water reservoir fills up. All in all, this is a great unit for the price to be able to make any medium sized room more comfortable and mold-free. I definitely recommend it!
