Great two burner induction cooktop
I love induction cooking. Safe, efficient, no stains on the cooktop. Heats rapidly. I needed to replace a thermal cooktop in a loft kitchen and this was exactly the right dimensions. I was curious how the power sharing would work since the total power is limited to 1800W. When you turn a burner on it comes on at P4 level (about 650W). You can turn it up in steps to maximum P9 (about 1100W). If you turn on the second burner, it will also come on at P4. If you turn this burner up, the first burner steps down in power so that the total is always less than 1800W. If you go below P4, the burner cycles on and off between 650W and 0W. I guess the burner can't run efficiently below 650W so they turn it on and off for lower power levels.

Looking Good
So far, so good. The unit fits perfectly in the space I had selected; the dimensions were accurately listed. I like that the controls are located on the end versus the side because it gives me more prep space. Going to start using it now, so wish me luck! UPDATE: I've been using this everyday now for several months, and it's working perfectly. Got to admit that I'm not a fan of the flashing lights, but nothing a kitchen towel can't cover.

Horrible instructions and manual
This stove was purchased for my mother in law, and she is not happy at this point . Here is her review Seriously, did anybody read this user manual before it was printed? You have lovely photos, why not identify everything, yes, I figured out the On/Off button. Why not identify both heating areas, again, figured that out. Just shows a slipshod job in creating a user manual. And that is not even the most annoying thing. The Product Operating Instructions are useless. Press ON/OFF to switch on, after pressing Function. What Function? There is no Function button identified. Identify the Function button! Then perhaps write in the instructions, Press Function, then Press ON/OFF. Identification and sequence is important. Then plug out to shut off power. Plug out? In the United States we speak English and a multitude of other languages, when instructions are written in English, let’s use English and not a sloppy version of it. Be clear, be concise. Front side and rear side. Now that is just plain stupid. There is a front, there is a back. Good thing some other poor sap that experienced this same issue put some better instructions out on the internet for people to refer to, otherwise this would be shipping back to China. My experience with your product sucks, and I haven’t even used it.

Perfect for tiny living spaces.
I’m moving into a micro studio (no stove) so this is the perfect solution. I specifically wanted a two burner with the controls on the end to save counter space.

Worked Fine - Great Price! Odd Warning on Back, Not in Mannual
Just received the unit yesterday and seems to work well. Came with a 120 v three prong plug and about a 4 foot cord. Was not sure as I did not see it mentioned in discription, but did say it was a table top unit, so I assumed it had a plug. Also does not mention it can be inserted in countertop, but there was a picture showing it in the countertop. The only reservation I have is on the back of the unit it says "60 minutes'on' in a two hour period". If that is a warning why would they have a 90 minute timmer? I cook sauces and soups often so hope this meanns 60 minutes on high in two hours. Seems it is a good unit for a good price

18 month review- my thoughts so far
First let me say after years cooking, I am a fan of induction cooking using different cooktops. I bought this top to convert the propane cooktop in my motorhome, first thing is this top will NOT work with modified sine invertors, pure sine is required. I matched this cooktop side by side with a propane 2 burner top (different brand) inset these into to countertop to have choice of gas or electric when boondocking and I can tell the propane top was definitely better quality. Comparing the two this induction top has much thinner glass used in the build compared to the propane top, also the printing for the controls on this induction top are top surface printed, after a year of cleaning the white print is all but gone completely, operating the stove now is by memory. Compared to to the propane top which is printed under the glass, the propane cooktop lettering is all perfect still. Next is this top has flashing red lights constantly when plugged in (not just when stovetop is operating), they are bright and not sure when the manufacturer felt this was necessary. Touch controls are still operating fine but a little too sensitive, there's a safety concern as the stovetop can be accidently turned on which has happen multiple times to me simply by setting items on the stove or brushing a hand by the controls resulting in one scary incident with a metal flour container on the top, not too long after I installed a switch to the outlet to shut off the top when not in use. While there is a timer function for each burner for timed cooking, the heat controls are very basic, no temperature controls as you find on many induction tops. Overall after 18 months of daily use, I would NOT buy this unit again unless the manufacturer stepped up with some very needed changes.

Reliable and easy to use
We have used model PKSTIND52 for three years in our RV (all electric, except for diesel engine). Works great, easy to clean, and item has not scratched at all during three years of heavy use. Hubby installed to "drop-in" to the corian countertop, to replace the old propane stove. He also installed a switch under the counter, allowing me to turn off/on, so the cooktop is never unplugged. Works so well, we are purchasing two more for our off-grid "shouse."

Does not work with most stainless steel pans
Bought this as a gift. Sheowns stainless steel pans. High quality one. They wouldnt work. She wrnt and got a second set of stainless steel pans. They wont work either. She had to go to a friends house borrow some pans and check them to see which ones worked. Then went back to the store to get cast iron pans. A bunch of bull for something that says stainless steel will work.

(bought from amazon.ca for use in Canada) The cooktop is as advertised, but it has a design problem. It's intended as a drop-in/built-in cooktop (has unfinished metal sides and bottom), but two bright red LEDs blink continuously when the cooktop is plugged in. The only way to turn off the LEDs is to unplug the cooktop. So if you want to have it as a built-in unit, it should be on a switched outlet. The unit I received was defective. The front burner works, but the rear burner cooling fan doesn't work. After a minute or two, it overheats and shuts down with an error code (E5). I contacted Nutrichef (a brand of Pyle/Sound Around) by phone about a repair or replacement. Pyle's rep was helpful but the warranty process is a bummer. I would have to ship the unit at my own cost to the repair centre in New York, and I would also have to be responsible for the return shipping. Through Canada Post this is at least a $90 return trip. Instead I'm going to buy a different brand with a better design and warranty.

Everything seems ok so far. The product looks modern. The only thing is I had to buy special pots and pans stainless steel kind to be compatible to use the burner. This requires me to put my current pot and pan set into waste. Also, the blinking red lights come on when not in use, this can be confusing.
