🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Solid quality wire — true 12 gauge and easy to work with
I needed a short length of 12 AWG wire for a solar project in my camper van and didn’t want to buy an entire spool — this 10ft option was perfect. The wire came neatly coiled and easy to unroll without kinks. It’s clearly true to gauge (some cheaper brands cheat on copper content), and the insulation feels thick, durable, and flexible — not stiff or brittle. It strips cleanly without tearing, and the copper strands are tightly wound and well made. I used it for DC power connections between a fuse block and my devices, and had zero issues with heat or voltage drop. Also handled crimp connectors and soldering like a champ. Whether you’re doing automotive, RV, solar, or home electronics work, this is a great wire to have on hand. Reliable, well-insulated, and cuts clean — no complaints at all. I’ll definitely reorder when I need more.

Very good wire
What happened to trusted brands and suppliers? You have to try things and rely on randos on the internet to test things for you. This is really decent cable for 220. I like it. Converted an air compressor from 110 to 220, so bumped up the cable. I would give the jacket a solid B. It seems like decent, good-enough spec’d rubber. Seems thinner than the industrial grade stuff my dad would have sourced from work, but decently tougher than the usual shiny jacketed wires. The stranded copper wire is good, maybe a B+. It feels a little on the fine side, which is a give and take. The internal insulation is ok. Didn’t burn any to test it but it could be thicker. It made for a good, decently-limp 220 cord with no resistance issues. Hasn’t tried to burn down my garage yet. Much better than the cables that come stock on most compressors these days, which I would give a C at best.
