I absolutely love these lunch boxes for my kindergarten age kid. They are easy for her to open and close on her own. The portion sizes are perfect for the entire school day (lunch and snacks). The main compartment may be a little small for an entire sandwich but my child usually only eats half so it is perfect for her. Great for keeping crackers/cheese/pickles separate and fresh with all the little compartments and I have never had an issue with spills. I noticed only one discoloration of the rubber seal when I used ketchup in the round middle container so I usually try to avoid that now. They keep food cold all day but I do prepare the lunches the night before and store in the fridge overnight so that might help. I haven't tried for hot food though. Yes, they are a bit more expensive than other bento style lunch kits I've tried from department stores, but they are much better quality and have a warranty. I will continue using these until my child grows to the point where she might need larger portion sizes.

I love bentgo boxes! I would give 4.5 stars if I could. I love the cute designs and so do my kids, I love the amount of cubbies and space. Things I don't like are that it's plastic which we are learning is not good for us and the fact that it's not bottom dishwasher safe. We have multiple people doing the dishwasher in my house and whenever someone who isn't me loads, I end up with a box that's a little hard to place, close, or open or worst case an unusable bentgo. Theuy are easy to open, otherwise.

My daughter (7) loves all the compartments and that they can each hold something different. She also has the matching insulated backpack and freezer thingies, and she thinks it's so cool they all match. I like that it's way easier to open and close than the one we had last year (the version with a frozen insert). It holds enough for her lunch for sure. What I don't like are these mysterious dents that keep appearing in the edges and don't go away. It doesn't impact the functionality at all, but it doesn't look great or give me a good feeling about the quality. We don't use it near hot surfaces or anything, so I can't figure out what these are. We also out yogurt in the tiny round spot mean for sauces, and the yogurt got everywhere. So maybe the seal isn't the best. I'm not sure. All I know is that my daughter told me the yogurt wasn't in its place and that she couldn't eat her sandwich.

It's a very good lunchbox, my daughter loves it, I bought it in 2022.

I got this for my daughter for preschool. Super easy to clean, perfect sized little compartments, easy to open and close, and sturdy. Very functional. The instructions say that they shouldn't be put in the dishwasher, but I put ours on the top shelf. The front picture has slightly faded and come off a little in a few spots, but considering how often we use and wash them, that's to be expected. Great for school, in the car, day trips, etc. I bought a separate little cooler to stick them in for when they contain items that's need to be refrigerated.
