ASKA Extra Spare Shaft for Pool Cue Stick, Hard Brown Tip, White Ferrule. Canadian Hard Rock Maple

I had purchased a cue on sale a while back and finally got around to unpacking it, only to find that the butt was amazing but the shaft was warped. Ordered this figuring at worst I send it back if it wasn’t worth it. I’m pleasantly surprised to report that it’s completely straight and the tip is properly affixed. It felt just a little rough to me, so I did sand it a bit (1000 grit, then 3000 grit) to smooth things out. Now it’s one of my favorite house cues in our rack. Nice value and highly recommended.

The shaft is very good, straight,it fit my Rage cue almost perfectly, the tip was a little harder than I like,but easy to change,my only complaint is the finish seemed to get thin about half way up the shaft,seems like it should have had a little more finish on it.

the shaft is not perfectly straight. it's very close so because this is my 3rd try I'm going to just keep it.I purchased a Miami Dolphins pool stick. when it came the shaft was hollow and warped. I'm a huge Dolphin fan so I kept the butt and started looking for a replacement shaft. after three try's I got the one that fit the stick 5/16x18 but it's not straight either. I give up!!!!waste of over $150.00 I can't even shoot with it

the shaft was just a little rough so i hit it with 1000 grit and then with 3000 grit and it came out smooth as silk. rolled it on the table and it's straight and true. well worth the little money it cost.

I like the price point , and lepro tips are good and durable on the hard side but some of the worlds top players play with these tips as they are tried and true , i like the brass connection as well its better then stainless steel in my opinion , now I have to say I'm extremely disappointed with this particular shaft I received today , it has stain drippings on the shaft and it does not roll straight it's warped quite a bit , bad enough to make me miss shots were I to use it which I won't because if I do I can't return it , maybe I just got a bad shaft in other reviews I have read I have heard people getting great shafts and others getting poor or damaged shafts such as I did , so I'll be contacting Amazon to return this shaft as it is defective in two critical areas fora shaft! Hope this helps you with your purchase if the shaft arrived without being warped or clear coat drippings on the tapered part of the shaft which the first 6" near the connection point is all that is coated btw also useful information , I would definitely keep it , so if you order this shaft good luck I hope q.c. control improves but it is made in China so...

maple shaft has a flaw .. Works so far if it does not break....

Couldn't find the right shaft until I found this one and it is right on the money.
