Can the metal ring be removed and a watch added?

It is possible to remove the metal ring, but the ends of the two straps that hold it are likely too close together (0.5 inches) for use as a watch band.

Can this be used as a ball stretcher?

I don't know what the question means. If it's obvious, I never stretched my balls with it....LOL. I know these are two small for a man's wrists. I would not recommend them.
