Barilla Pasta Lasagne Durum Wheat, 500 grams, Italy

Barilla Pasta Lasagne was packed in a flimsy corrugated carton which smells very bad because of the glue in it. The packets were broken and the contents were in the outer carton which became unfit for consumption. Please note food items need better care and standard in packing. The carton material is unhygienic because of the glue used in this low quality stuff. We cannot keep the outer carton inside the house as it stinks. The pasta must have also absorbed the smell of the glue which would have made it unfit for consumption. The pictures speak in detail :-

The paste need not be pre boiled prior to cooking which is really good. Slightly expensive but overall quality is good.

The pasta box was torn in one corner and the several of the pasta sheets were broken, making it difficult to cook. Also while cooking , the pasta sheets tore up into smaller pieces, making it difficult to take them out in one piece. The flavour of the pasta was the only saving grace.

Most of the sheets were broken and crumbling. Had to waste 50% of the sheets as they were not fit to be used

Everywhere they have written it's vegetarian product ....but as you can see at one point they mentioned " may be present EGG " so be careful before buying .. Barilla should change package. They have directly placed sheets in box so sheets are little broken at edges. About taste I'll let you know.
