This was my second time doing a crochet style on myself. I was looking at reviews of this hair on TikTok and on here, because I like to be sure of a product before I buy. But this hair was really nice, the texture was not too rough or too soft but just right to me. Once I installed the yanky twist, I had cut around just to shape the hair cause it will look a little bulky lol. But that probably only applied to me because I wanted a full look. I bought 2 packs of this hair, which would be 12 plastic bags of the hair altogether. I bought one with the longest length and one with the shortest for a more layered look. The length was amazing. For the first few weeks, the hair went just above the middle of my back, then I decided to cut it and it still came out cute. Just be careful with unraveling them. I did this and it looked great, but the more time passes the unraveled ones start to tangle, nothing too bad though. I used mousse and dipped my hair as well and added a moisturizer to my hair underneath. Its pretty easy to maintain especially if you put it up in a bonnet at night or just mousse through it. This hair worked out really well in my favor and remember this was my second time doing crochet 😭.

Girl let me tell you!!!! You won’t regret this purchase I got so many compliments wearing this hair it’s so natural so beautiful and long lasting. Doesnt tangle terribly doesn’t get frizzy the length let me tell you it’s long but easy for shaping it to how you like it. Very light weight doesn’t feel heavy even if you go on vacation like I was it’s very light and soft. And I’ve gotten Yanky twists before and I can’t tell the different with this let me say with this it’s cheaper and you get the same result!!!

Light weight and great quality!

I was hesitant to try these because of the price but there are a lot of other pricier ones that are the same, so I went for it. The color (#4) is very pretty. They don’t tangle much so far, however I did just install them yesterday. They are super light weight!! This is coming from someone with a very sensitive scalp. Other crochet hair has been too heavy. They arrived with a strong tire scent. Before installing, I soaked them in a sink of warm water with 1/4 - 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar and a splash of fabric softener for 20 mins. Rinsed thoroughly with cold water, let them air dry and the smell was completely gone!! This will probably also help so they don’t make your scalp itch. They’re not super soft or rough, it’s what you’d expect from synthetic hair. They’re also shiny. The top of the hair is so slick and bouncy that it doesn’t tie well unless you put it through the loop then twist the loop around once and put it through again (which is simple), so I definitely suggest doing that to make sure they’re secured and lay flat! Pretty easy to install and put through the loop. I had 14 cornrows because I have thick hair. It comes with 6 packs (240 strands) and that wasn’t quite enough to fill my whole head. I would’ve needed 2 or 3 more packs for full coverage. We were able to make it appear as if it’s covered but certain styles will show the cornrows a little. Just keep that in mind! If you’re okay with that or have thinner hair then 6 packs is probably enough. The value for the money would be amazing if it came with just a few more packs!! :)
