Very nice kit. The instructions took awhile to understand. I'm still working on completing this project.

UPDATE: I started this black cat stamped cross stitch on August 31st and finished today November 16th 2024. I enjoyed stitching this design, however there were a few issues:1) If you do not like Confetti, this kit is not for you. It was loaded with scattered stitches throughout.2) This design could have benefitted from some back stitch in it.3) I ran out of three colors, 2 of the greens and a cream color. I am very conservative with my threads but still ran out. Fortunately I was able to improvise and no one will be the wiser. Quality control needs to check color quantities, as some colors I had a ton left over.I have yet to wash so will update that with any issues.All in all it was a fun stitch, and turned out cute.Initial review:I am no stranger to counted cross stitch, having done it since 1982. This is the first stamped cross stitch I have ever purchased and only did that because there seems to be an upswing in this type as it becomes more popular. I wanted to see if it lived up to all the hype. At first glance you really cannot tell from the print that there is an actual image because the colors printed on the canvas have nothing to do with the colors of the floss. But there is method to the madness. As I got into stitching I realized there are many, many orphan or confetti stitches in it which are quite time consuming. I have about a quarter of it done and can see the image taking shape. My intense hope is that the print on the canvas is completely removed after washing the finished piece. If it does not, it will be a deal breaker. Will update after it is finished and washed and may or may not change number of stars then.

I'm a novice sewer/embroiderer, and I love how simple this is.

The design is what I like, but the yarn is easy to get fluffy
