These are NOT a true 13-size shoe. Very narrow, not the best fitting shoe.

I’ve been wearing these shoes for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely happy with how they look and feel. The white leather design is easy to style with casual outfits, and they feel surprisingly light even though they add those extra inches. I was worried they might be uncomfortable or too obvious, but the fit is snug without being tight, and no one can tell I’m wearing elevator shoes unless I point it out. Cleaning them has been a breeze, and they’ve held up well during everyday activities. Overall, these sneakers make me feel more confident without sacrificing comfort or style.

You see these gimmicky "elevator" shoes for men everywhere so I figured I'd give it a shot. If you've never walked in them before, you definitely have to get used to it. And I don't just mean for driving, but simply walking feels a little weird. Overall, I decided these shoes weren't for me. But I can't quite ding them in a review because they weren't what I personally like. What I will say though that is that these shoes are certainly not "sporty" or "athletic" looking at all. They didn't look like a pair of Nikes in the picture, but they didn't look like dress shoes either. But now that I have them in person, they definitely look like I'm about to go to a wedding or something which isn't great. Still overall, if you're into this type of shoe, I'd recommend it for the quality.

I'm genuinely impressed at the style and design! This pair of shoes is the first time I had ever heard about Calto or gotten to try wearing shoes that boost height, and I didn't know what to expect. They arrived fairly discreetly in double protective bags and wrapping, and the package seemed so lightweight that I didn't realize it was the new shoes until opening up the shoe box itself.I'm from a family of 4 boys and unfortunately the shortest of my 3 brothers. Thought these might be cool to use for our family photos so we're all the same height as eachother.The shoe looks really clean for housing a 2.8" boosted sole size inside. I went with the white color and I think it's a much better choice color to use for any "faux leather" materials. I normally wear a 10.5 but I ordered the 11 and it ended up fitting GREAT and being really ideal because these seem to run half a size small I believe.The base of the shoe is all bouncy foam so it's not weighing down the shoe, and the raised inside sole that your foot rests on is made of a more rigid, solid foam that doesn't compress much and allows the added height.It takes a bit to get used to walking with a more forward angled foot, but it was surprisingly comfortable and I could see it being easy to wear almost anywhere. I also think they did a GREAT job designing it in a way that the raised back is barely noticeable from the outside, which impressed me a ton.I could see this being really great for a ton of situations where the added stature and confidence is invaluable. The only criticism I have is just material related, as faux leather material will sometimes start getting bend wrinkles and/or stress marks over time in certain spots. This is normally fine and part of breaking in a new pair of shoes, but if the thinner layers of the fake leather/plastic material flexes around where the raised sole sits and your foot meets, it could create a bend mark or flexing spot in the middle of the back area which would stand out - and really highlight that something is different about the shoe because standard shoes don't bend or flex in the middle of your heel/ankle area.Other than that, it's an awesome looking shoe and very comfortable to wear. I'm glad products like this are available for guys (women have tons of cool platform, boot and heel style shoes that provide a boost in height), and I look forward to situations where having a pair of shoes like this will be quite beneficial.Overall I rate this pair a 4.75 out of 5 stars based on the great appearance and creative design, although they used slightly cheaper materials. They should be able to add some real leather accents or more durable flexible fabric that won't crease at this price point.

Overall this pair of shoes is a nice pair that will, as described, add some height to your walk. The lift is significant and I love that about this pair. They are mostly good quality- here’s what I mean… The body of the shoes, the laces, the soles, etc. are high quality- but it feels like they skimped on the shoe heel. It crushed immediately when I tried to get my food in. Now, if I ever wear them, I have to pull the scrunched up heel up. A sturdier heel would go a long way. The shoe is also made for skinny feet. I do not have those, so getting these on (especially with a crushed heel) was not easy. Once on, they are great. They have a nice style and can be dressed up or dressed down. Some great features, some room for improvements. Great for shorter people with skinny feet looking to see the world from a bit higher vantage point.
