Not the best quality

These are fantastic shoes! They have the look of dress shoes and the feel of the best fitting and feeling athletic shoes. The uppers are leather and the sole looks like they are off a pair of running shoes. The added bonus for me is that they add about 1 to 1.5 inches to my height, which is helpful for me since I am 5'6". They feel very comfortable to me with regular dress socks on. The fit is right on the mark for the size I ordered and expected them to be. The laces are good quality and durable. I'm impressed with these shoes. I think they are a good value!

I wanted some comfortable dress shoes, so I tried these Xpacs shoes. They come with arch support and orthotic inserts, and also an extra set that has less support. Of course I used the original supportive inserts. I'm conflicted on the looks of these shoes. The upper is leather and looks pretty good, with the stitching and pattern like normal dress shoes. However, the midsole is like a walking shoe with large support, so it makes the shoe look cheap. The bottom of the shoes are more plastic and not leather - while it helps with traction, it also looks cheap and I'm not sure how long these soles will last. The shoes are very slightly larger than the size ordered. While my feet is comfortable, the shoes aren't snug and I might slide a little bit in them. They are very comfortable shoes to walk in, as there is plenty of cushion for my heel and forefoot as well. While the midsole and sole looks cheap, I will use them for my more formal wear that goes with my suit, as my previous dress shoes were hard and uncomfortable. The price is good for dress shoes, especially orthopedic and comfortable ones, but the styling is a bit concerning.
