What's the difference btw this one & the other one, asin: b01ednpbe4? all medium roasted n ground, only the pics look a bit different. so confused :(

Tis is a good question. Unfortunately I've only used the PureLife Enema Coffee. One think I do like is this one doesn't burn or irritate the colon.

Do you have to strain the coffee prior to use?

Anthony, I have been using this coffee for about a year, my procedure is this, I boil 6 cups DISTILLED water, then I add 2 to 3 heaping tablespoons of pure life coffee I let that boil about 15 mins stirring every few mins or so then I leave the hot coffee on the stove to cool, I make it befor work, then when I get home I know it is completely cooled! to strain the coffee I put A WIRE strainer over a mixing bowl {preferable one with a spout to make pouring easier I place paper towels over the wire strainer, Then Proceed to strain the coffee, you really want to make sure you try to prevent getting grounds in the strained coffee, then you can pour the coffee into an enema bottle {they are like a hot water bottle} a lot of the grounds have settled to the bottom of the pot by the time I get home. I get 3 to 4 enemas out of each batch I make. I do about 2 to 3 enemas per week. This really works and I have proff, 2 years ago my blood levels were all out of control high triglycerides, high ph, and all kind of bad stuff, I was developing infections in my mouth, and everywhere else, I started doing my enemas and last week I had my blood work done, and its perfect haven't had any sort of infection at all in over a year!

Curious how this compares to SA Wilson for anyone who's used both?

This is a light roast, while SA Wilson is green (it's also a little cheaper). One of my resources for detoxing is Dr. Lawrence Wilson. He has a couple of excellent books, my favorite is the one on using a near infrared sauna but includes his whole protocol. I don't necessarily endorse his whole metal detox protocol, but fully endorse his sauna recommendations. He does not recommend this coffee, or SA Wilson, or any green or light roast coffee for enemas. He likes bullet proof coffee, and evidence seems to indicate that a darker roast such as Bullet Proof may in fact be more beneficial, but I really have to investigate this further. (Look up Dr. Wilson Coffee Enemas for his article on this.) I do like that SA Wilson does not attack other brands like this brand did in their statement here. Many people following the Gerson protocol use SA Wilson and seem to like it. If I decide to go with a more traditional Gerson protocol then SA Wilson would probably be my enema coffee of choice. But since I'm using coffee enemas for a different kind of detox protocol I might follow Dr. Wilson's recommendations for a darker roast. There is a letter from the Pure life Health online to Dr. Wilson accusing him of slander only because he won't recommend their product. But he has his reasons which he is entitled to. SA Wilson did not send such a letter to Dr. Wilson demanding that he endorse their company. Please note I am not connected with any of these products or with Dr. Wilson. This is obvious by my 15+ years of reviews (I am nutritionist). You asked what the difference was between this product and SA Wilson. Other than these things I can't vouch for either product. However, since I am about to embark on coffee enemas myself (and hence why I was checking out this product) I will be requesting COA's from these companies along with Mam (the coffee actually endorsed by Gerson) as well as Bullet Proof Coffee and reading the scientific litterature before making a decision on green, vs light or darker roast. It'll be interesting to see all the lresponses. My 30+ years has proven some companies are very transparent and happily provide testing results, while others do not. I'll try to post reviews later. Note, this is only my opinion which I give from a personal perspective.

I became extremely ill ~year ago and still have a lot of healing to accomplish. However, I have tried several different coffee brands for the gerson therapy and this one is by far the best. It is mild but extremely effective at drawing out toxic matter. I feel my gallbladder release now after six months on the protocol. I also purchased the sauna space home portable sauna recommended by the Wilson therapy. It has help speed up the detox process. I have IC, Mercury, cadnium and coper toxicity unknown sources verified by Hair and blood analysis. I am slowly recovering using this product as part of and entire protocol. I also use a vitamin c flush weekly (make sure to read up on the correct vit c before embarking on this tx) and glutathione and 1 billion probiotics daily. The regular docs wanted to diagnose me with fibromyalgia and I said no and just forced testing and diagnostics. I had to pay for most of this on my own but giving the tx for fibro and poor quality of life I was not going to settle for that. I work full time as a professor. And if had I settled for fibro dx they where going to put me on disability. No way. Try this whole therapy and you just may save your own life. Don't wait arround for some hc system to fix you. Try it for yourself, it will only help. That is a garentee if you do what is required. It's your choice. It takes commitment but it takes commitment to sit around in dr offices only to be told there's nothing for you but take more toxic pills and you walk around like a zombie. That's not living. Just buy two bags the enama bag kit and get rolling on cleaning your system. Drink clean spring filtered water only. No tea, coffee, junk fake juice, no Franken food. You will fell the difference in a week and it gets better from there in stages. You will need to reorder frequently and keep you bags I the freezer to maintain freshness. Get well soon!
