I recommend Don Pablo's Columbian Coffee because when you compare the cost with other good quality coffee's it is a much better value ( even half the cost or less ) plus it is free shipping on amazon. The smell, taste, and look are all excellent. I like to grind it myself because it seems fresher that way plus it makes the house smell nice. It has a medium strong type of flavor, not too dark, and not too light. I don't think I've ever had a better tasting coffee, it's equally as good as any other I've had. If you like Green Mountain Coffee Roasters or Columbian Coffee from Nuts.com etc. then I recommend Don Pablo's mainly because You save a lot of money if you buy the 5 pound bag at under 35 dollars. I now ordered my 2nd 5 pound bag and the first one seems to last around at least 5-6 weeks depending on how much you use.

Backstory: been out of coffee for a few days. Tired of trying to find whole bean coffee at the grocer. They only carry ground swill and Kcups. I like coffee freshly ground when brewed. I came home from work and found this had been delivered today. I opened the bag and WOW, what a smell! I could not wait until morning to try it, so I brewed a pot for after dinner ... The GOOD: The flavor is exactly as described. Dark, rich, nutty, and low acidity. Was so good I took the rest of the pot out to the porch and sat by the fire pit to enjoy an after dinner coffee with a splash of Tia Maria. Yep! It was as good as it sounds! The BAD: not gonna lie... There is no bad. This was the best d**n pot of coffee I have ever had! I will be putting myself on the auto reorder tonight!

i bought this thinking this was 100% Columbian. that seemed to be about all it talked about, using authentic Columbian. while it does say it uses Columbian, hidden in the full description, it says they also use coffee from other places too... so this is not 100% Columbian. to me this was false advertising... how can it be Columbian coffee if it is not 100% Columbian coffee? anyways, the coffee was good. but it is unfortunately not 100% Columbian coffee good.
