Dark and smooth

Yep, there pencils, seems Ok so far, maybe a little lighter than normal, maybe a different timber species used, but they seem to do the job.

In the past, I have used trusted big-name brands of pencils, but these ones work just as well as any of those. They sharpen easily and without issue. The lead is soft, but not too soft. It is dark enough to be seen easily, but erases well with the included erasers attached to the pencils. I like that this pack comes with two different colors of pencil, that is a nice touch. However, please note that it is only the outside of the wood that is a different color. The pencil lead itself is the same in both colors of pencil. I highly recommend these!

Just as described, two boxes of pre sharpened pencils with erasers. Each box has a mix of both red and yellow pencils. I thought it'd be one box of red and one box of yellow, but oh well. The eraser is ok, will leave some lead on the paper but I didn't really care about that. Wish the seller had more bulk options.

These are great pencils! They are classic pencils with wooden shafts. They come pre-sharpened, and anyone who's ever been in an elementary school classroom knows how awesome that is. Additionally, the lead is thick, so they don't break easily. It also writes nice and dark without needing to press hard. These will last for lots of writing without a lot of sharpening. I love the red, which is super bright. The yellow other half of the pencils look very traditional. The erasers erase very cleanly, leaving no smudging or damage to the paper. These are perfect, economical pencils that are great for tests or just every day pencil use.

Pretty comparable to the name-brand pencils we usually buy. They came well packaged, sharpened, and not broken from shipping. They write well, don't splinter when you sharpen, and would make a solid choice for any classroom budget pencil.

The erasers tend to pop off easily when using. The lead is strong and the pencil grip is comfortable.
