We found out Caribou Coffee while visiting Minneapolis. This is the most popular coffee shop in Minnesota. Love the aroma and flavor.

I've been drinking Pike's Place for the longest time, and enjoy it. The quality is consistent and it's priced reasonably. However, after trying Caribou Coffee (Mahogany blend) at the Denver airport recently, I decided to experiment more. Trying new coffees requires the acceptance of the risk that you'll buy a bag of coffee, not like it, and throw it in the trash (I recently did this with a dark roast). Then there is the joy of finding a coffee that you'll find enjoyable. I think the Caribou blend is that type of coffee. It's balanced (not bitter, has a hint of chocolate), something that you would find as the main medium roast coffee offering of a restaurant or coffee shop. I like it more than the Mahogany blend, and it's smoother than Starbucks Pike Place. It's hard to describe taste, since it's highly subjective, but I do find the coffee enjoyable and would recommend it to others looking for an excellent coffee that isn't expensive.

Consistently great quality and flavor.

Bulk purchase so I didn’t run out was a great value for the money and caribou is always fresh. The morning blend is the best…they were all sealed, perfect size for use over a few weeks. Roast is great and it’s never bitter…I even make espresso out of it.
