Very nice picnic table for young kids. We use it for kinetic sand outside. The umbrella keeps our girl from getting a sunburn.

This was solid wood- and very easy to put together. I did not realize I ordered a raw wood option but that gave me the opportunity to stain and seal the wood before assembly. It was easy to put together and it is solid! This little boy will get many years of use out of this awesome gift!

Arrived broken. Will try wood glue, but this is very disappointing.

This is a very preliminary review. When I unboxed the kit, the main structural part (to which legs and top attach) broke. I am waiting for my glue to dry, with which I tried to reattach the three small pieces by two screws. These pieces broke off. I thought I was not particularly rough in unpacking, but I did exert force to pull out parts. Too much force. This is a cute little table, but so far it seems to be more of a toy, perhaps for dolls, than something for five year olds to sit at. I will update this review. UPDATE: Like all the "kits to be assembled" from China that I have bought this year, it is beautifully designed and well packaged. There should be a warning, however to open the box and remove pieces carefully. As I wrote above, I broke one piece when I pulled too forcefully on it. The kit is easy to assemble and seems well designed structurally. The wood, however, is thin and brittle so be cautious unpacking and assembling it, I will submit a final update in a few weeks after my grandchildren have "put it through its paces."

Unfit for sale. Not even possible to assemble, wood components are cut incorrectly so nothing lines up correctly when you start putting the hardware in. Cheap cedar wood is splintering and losing big chunks right out of the box. Wood is stained with cheap colors that rub off on hands, clothes, and objects. No water resistant sealant on wood whatsoever, it would become saturated and start breaking apart if it got wet at all. Pictures in the instructions don't even match the product. DO NOT BUY. Not only is this unusable, it is a significant inconvenience to take everything out for assembly, find it's not possible to assemble, undo what you've already done, repack and return this absolute waste of money, materials, and time.
