Nice camera. A newer version of the one I bought a few years ago. Made a favorite Christmas gift to one of my grandsons. He loved it!

Honestly, I was surprised how good this little camera is for the price. It says 4K and 80MP, and while it’s not some high end cinema camera, the footage actually looks pretty sharp, especially with decent lighting. Definitely better than what I expected. The night vision is a legit standout. Switch that on and it turns full black and white, super clear in total darkness. Makes it feel way more expensive than it is. The zoom is digital, not optical, so yeah, it gets a bit grainy when you push it too far, but it still helps you frame shots better. For casual stuff, it totally works. The flip screen is bright and easy to use. Menus are simple, and you don’t need a manual to figure it out. No touch screen, but the buttons respond quick. Battery life is decent. You get two included, which is great. They each last about an hour depending on how you're filming. Swapping them out is easy, and it charges with a regular USB, which I love. No random proprietary charger nonsense. If you’re just starting out with YouTube, vlogging, or want something better than a phone without dropping big money, this is a great little camcorder. It’s not pro level gear, but for casual recording, memories, or even messing around with creative projects, it’s honestly kind of perfect. I’d 100 percent recommend it if you know what you’re getting and don’t expect it to be top of the line. It's totally worth it.

Works great for shooting home videos.

Yeah they're getting high megapixels not because the sensor is that good but because they're just upscaling the image, I'm almost certain. If you zoom in really far you can see the upscaling artifacts. The motion blur is atrocious. If you want to buy this for a kid go ahead. I bought it to be backup camera for my workshop videos, basically just passive b-roll of the shop. It's not even up to that.

I wanted to start vlogging and bought this. It's ok, but nothing special. I got it during a lightening deal yesterday, only to find out today that they included a $30 coupon off, anyway, so I could have waited for something better. The quality is ok as long as you don't zoom in.. but once you zoom in, it suffers. I knew this, though, being that it's a digital zoom and not an optical one; something I would have had to pay more for. Also, it's not very intuitive with its functions. I discovered a volume setting, and put it higher, only to find that it made for a screechy volume. When I went to go and lower it, I couldn't remember where the volume setting was. It was SO frustrating. The other thing is that this camcorder was released in January, and I discovered there's another exact version by this seller on Amazon that was released a month later. This version is BLACK92, and the newest release is BLACK V92. I don't know what the difference is, and they go for the same price, so that's really weird. Lastly, the battery life isn't great. It's only good for 90 minutes. So, while this is compact and light, and claims to be 4K, I really find it only serviceable. I'm wondering if my phone isn't just as good, and I notice that the audio on my phone seems more natural and not "tinny". Again, it's ok, but for what you get, it should have been HALF the price. Edited: The camcorder screen goes blank after a few minutes, and I can't see a thing. It's really very disappointing. Also, the battery life, even at 1080P, is about the same as the battery life using 4K (around 90 minutes). That shouldn't be if you're using the lower resolution. The Seller refunded me 50% over the above issues, but this new issue now with the screen going blank after a few minutes makes this device pretty useless to me. I took out the battery and reinserted it to reset the device, per their suggestion, but still have the same problem. Because of this and other factors, I've changed my rating from 3 to 1 star.
