Bed time story is a must for my kids. They do not sleep without listening to one. I either lay with them in the bed or sit on their small chair (which is mostly the case lol). Following this ritual has given my back a constant pain specially when I sit in their chair. So I decided to get a nice comfortable chair for myself which I can use while bed time story and the one that looks nice in the kids bedroom. After a lot of search I ordered this chair as it has neutral color and goes well in the kids bedroom. Moreover I was excited to try a rocking chair as I have never had one before. It was shipped in the designated time and was delivered safely. Packaging was really good and the assembly was super easy. All the instructions were very clear and with the help of my wife I assembled it in no time. I was very happy to see the sturdy legs because that chair being in the kids room means that they would jump on it lol and I really needed something sturdy like this. I found a perfect spot in the room and placed it there. My first time using this chair while telling them bed time story and it was super comfortable. The best part is the perfect back support and the curvature of the back. It goes against the back muscles I needed the support for. I knew right there that the purpose of getting the chair is fulfilled. The add on is the rocking of the chair. I was constantly rocking the chair while telling them the story and it helped me relax too. You can say a little too relaxed that I pretty much slept in the chair lol. The fabric is soft and makes it even more comfortable. Kids love the chair too. I am very happy overall.

For $100 delivered to my door, it has exceeded all my expectations. I got this for my nursery and before the baby was born I just thought it was so cute. I didn't use it very much until the baby turned 2 months & had a very fussy/ gassy/ teething day. The rocking chair was the only thing that soothed her to sleep or distracted her enough to eat. We have used it every single day since. It's very portable so we moved it to the living room so I can warch tv or be with the family & I rock her every single day. It's surprisingly comfortable despite how simple & cheap it is. It's big enough to fit a boppy pillow & a 14 pound growing baby. I highly recommend it, it's been one of those baby things that we couldn't live without.

I liked the way it looked, and it was inexpensive.Why did you pick this product vs others?:I am disappointed in this rocking chair. I wasn’t expecting anything fabulous as it was inexpensive. While the chair looks nice, it is extremely uncomfortable. I am 5’4” (average) and my feet do not touch the floor when I’m sitting in the chair. I have to sit very far forward to rock the chair, and the chair barely rocks at all when I do. It squeaks, too. The chair looks nice, and it was easy enough to assemble, so that’s a couple of pros in its favor. If I have it in me, I’m going to disassemble it and send it back. If not, I’ll just give it away.

So the instructions are really not very helpful at all. But I didn’t figure out how to build it. I think 2 people building it would make it easier because it’s important the peices are super close together to achieve the security the bolts need. I still have to tighten the screws I realize Arnt tight enough contributing to a squeak. It rocks nice, I’m 5’3, 135 pounds and my 2 year old fit on here nice for reading and rocking together. It’s actually really comfertable. Color is as depicted, the ivory white. Dosnt smell like chemicals. Not too heavy of a chair. Quality seems worth it for $100, plus can’t beat free shipping and returns if you were unhappy with this chair compared to others.

I bought this chair for our nursery. Baby is due in a few days and I was able to put this chair together by myself in about 20 minutes. We have a small nursery and I needed something compact to sit and rock the baby to sleep without compromising for floor space in the room itself. It’s a little lower to the ground than I expected, but it’s not hard to sit down and stand up from the chair.Attaching the back of the chair to the seat was the hardest part and that’s just because it was a little hard to align the holes right. You have to feel around and be in an area with good lighting because the screws go in the back and through the fabric so it’s kind of hard to see. Otherwise it was super easy to put together and it’s quite a comfortable chair. The fabric is cozy and warm, the seat is super wide and as a bigger person, that was a big thing I was looking for. I look forward to rocking my son to sleep in this chair. For the price, you just can’t beat it.Definitely a 5 star chair and I’m so glad we purchased it!EDIT: 8 months later.The chair didn’t last very long. After about a month, the chair started to slouch towards the front and whenever we’d sit down, it felt like we were sliding off of it. Turns out the part of the chair legs that anchors to the seat itself became bent and there’s no way to fix it. My boyfriend and I are both well under the weight requirements for the chair so I’m not sure why it’s bent like that. Super disappointed!!! I was so excited about this chair and now we have to just throw it away because it’s unable to be used.
