BIG Spielwarenfabrik, brand Aquaplay Aquaplay - LockBox Water Playset

Took a little while to arrive but was definitely worth the wait! My 2 and 6 year olds played with it for hours, then a visiting 11 year old, so you know it’s good. Best as an outside toy, somewhere that water won’t be a problem. It’s a good size for 2 kids to play with at the same time. An FYI- the pump for the lock takes a few pumps to get started if it hasn’t been used, but works great once it’s primed. Lots of fun! Putting it together is pretty straightforward. It took some muscle to get the red connectors to click into place but it was clear what needed to happen. We’ve had it for a couple of months now and it’s held up well so far.

My 2 1/2 year old can’t stop talking about his blue water table. We actually played with it indoors (without water) for a week before it was warm enough to go outside. It’s kept him entertained for over an hour which in toddler world that’s amazing. The set up was easy (even given the ikea like directions) and only took 20 minutes with a toddler trying to help. So basically if you’re doing it by yourself I’d expect it to go faster. I have only put it as a suitcase once and maybe I didn’t do it right but if I were to actually carry it as one, the toys would fall out. But I don’t plan on doing it often and will just carry it upside down. All in all, I didn’t want to spend a lot and wanted it to be easy to pick up so it wasn’t just sitting outside like other water tables. I keep saying table but obviously this one sits right on the ground. Which didnt bother us. Editing to add I figured out now am having done the suitcase twice that if you put in the water gates it holds the toys in! Just wanted to share that update!

Over priced for the quality. Also, the boat is not water tight, so the base filled with water, but there is no way to open it to drain.

I would prefer the parts to be more sturdy. And it came without one of the locks to the canal so it doesn’t work. Also the package came all damaged and taped together. It looked like we got a returned one with missing parts.

Buying something for my 3 year old daughter is always a challenge.. I hate buying things that I know in 12 months will be broken, unloved and inevitably in the bin. I came across this and thought it might serve a duel purpose, my 5 year old also loves it. It is a bit of a faff opening it and setting it up, but nothing too difficult it just take 5 minutes or so, you also need to put the red clips somewhere safe which holds it all together, kids play happily with it for a couple of hours then as all toys it is left abandoned in the garden along with their scooters, bikes and anything else they can find. Dismantling this is easy enough and there is plenty of room in the container to put all the bits away. The only slight flaw is the fact you need to keep the cardboard case with it otherwise all the bits will fall out. Solid toy though and it should certainly last much longer than most of the other toys, great for the hot weather to give you a little piece while in the garden.

Attention, il faut surveiller quand même les enfants car il y a des petites pièces, pas très solide non plus mais ça fait le job pour quelques heures
