I wanted to buy a gift for my friend as she was leaving her current teaching job and starting a new chapter. I came across this as I searched unique gifts. After reading all the description and the reviews I really liked the idea of it. I'm not religious but my friend is and I did leave it in my basket a while whilst I mulled over whether it was an appropriate gift. As i dont follow religion I wasn't sure if this was right as a gift, was it needed, would it be seen as insulting? Did it express enough love to her from me? The reviews were so helpful for me, especially the videos. I loved how the quotes had been divided into different colours to suit the emotional need of the moment. I ordered it so that I could have a look at it for myself and send it back if not wanted. On arrival i felt the price is high at £20, I'd spend far more on my friend obviously, but for something as small as this is it is alot when other versions are half the price. It comes in a very nice black box with gold inscription. The simple box makes the gift feel classy and elegant, there is no fussiness and it allows the gift to speak for itself. The reviewer who said to open the box before gifting was completely correct as the ribbon is inside with the gift card! I didn't open the jar to look at the readings as they were so nicely packed, I didn't want to disturb them. I could easily see all the lovely colours and the jar was the cutest thing ever. I decided to keep the gift and gift to my friend. I wanted a gift that would demonstrate that I care for her, that I was thinking of her, that I could see how hard this step was that she was taking, it was a double edge sword decision. She had many things changing at once and life was a little scary and overwhelming. The different verses were ideal. I didn't wrap the box, I just added the lovely ribbon and gift card and it was perfect. The ribbon is very easy to make up, just hold and pull firmly. The gift was well received and I was relieved.

I gave this to my muslim friend as a Christmas present, she doesnt celebrate Christmas but she was over the moon with this gift. She reads the Quaran every day and this has added to her reading.

This is such a nice item. Its well made, the glass jar is good quality, the verses inside are nicely stacked, the box is nice. Its all set and ready to be gifted to someone. I love that the verses are both in arabic and english and theres plenty of them inside.

Boyfriend loved this! I think it’s such a sweet idea for Ramadan, just to give you some extra push.

Gave these as EID presents to family members. Once the different categories and colors were explained to the Arab speakers in the family, they really enjoy the jar of verses as well.
