I use this SPG as the foundation for my steaks, and the results are incredible. It has a great texture that creates a nice crust, unlike cheaper powdered seasonings. My Secret Combo: I sprinkle a layer of this SPG first, then top it with Swine Life Mississippi Grind. I let the steaks sit for a bit, then grill them on my high-heat smoker for about 6 minutes per side. The Verdict: The flavor is unbeatable. My wife and I recently went to a high-end steakhouse, and she was actually disappointed—she said the expensive steak there didn't taste nearly as good as the ones I make at home with this rub!

Great seasoning but not a good price

My brother-in-law and I are both avid cooks and always looking for the best seasonings. He suggested I get this and said it would be the only seasoning I need going forward and he is right! My only complaint is that it makes you cough and sneeze (almost like pepper spray!) So be careful not to breathe it in but it’s so flavorful on everything that it’s worth the risk. I use this on all meats regardless of cooking method.
