It is pricy. But for me, this is the best hand and body lotion. I have been using different lotions for a while. When I made my trip to Europe in 2012, I received this lotion as a gift. Once I used it I realized that it was the best of all the lotions I've used. Rapid and transparent absorption and and a wonderful aroma. You can't beat it!

I was surprised at how thick this lotion is! It seems to take a little longer than most to be absorbed into my skin (so I have white legs - and that's not due to lack of sun!) but once it is, feels wonderful. It's working great for my super dry skin due to winter weather & temps. No stickiness or residue that I've noticed. I can put in after my shower and then go to bed without being concerned about residue on the bedding. I really don't pick up any scent to it. The reason for the one star is simply the price - when I ordered about $38 for a 17 oz bottle. That's more that I spend on lotions. I've made my own with only 3 products and though not as "fancy", worked just as well at a lot less. I don't know if this big bottle will last longer than others of approximately the same size or not. Hard to judge, since most of the lotions I have are about 8-10 oz bottles. Recommend? - depends on how much you're willing to spend. If you don't mind spending a little more, this would be a great options. If price is an issue, you may want something not quite so expensive.
