I use this to keep my back door open. It was easy to install with included screws and seems to be of good quality so far. I like the way it looks, too.

No issues and does what it should. Only advice is to make sure the stand will be flat on the ground when kicked down, too high or low and it barely holds, but that's user error, not the fault of this product.

I don't know about you but I have a hard time laying on the ground and trying to mark my pilot hole locations while holding the door stopper steady and level. This is a problem with all door stops but not specific to this brand of door stops. The door stop itself feels sturdy and functions.

Hold in place to check unit placement, mark the four holes ( check what your drilling into and or thru before proceeding ) then finish the process. Heavily made product should stand up to years of use, the rubber foot is replaceable when and if it becomes necessary.

It's an inch longer than the doorstops you can buy at Home Depot or Loew's, but if you need an extra long stop, this will work just fine. The item is durable and well designed, the finish is as advertised, and I have been using it to keep my door open, even in the face of 40 mile an hour gusts of wind. One nice little feature is that it is affixed to the door with four screw holes, whereas most of the flimsier ones at the mass hardware store use a triangular backplate at the hinge, allowing only for a three hole installation. Not much more to be said.

Place it down on the ground to keep the door open, raise and the door shuts freely!! Unbelievable! Great price, great door stopping ability, great delivery! WHAT CAN I SAY!!!!!! THIS THING IS GREAT!! HOLDS THE DOOR OPEN LIKE NO TOMORROW!!!! FANTASTIC!!

We have a "close spring" on the door between our home and the attached garage. It is a valuable safety feature re keeping the door closed and preventing carbon monoxide from getting into the house. But it is a nuisance when it comes to carrying groceries or anything else from the garage to the inside. The proximity of a short staircase adds to the concern because the door could "nudge" one down the stairs. This doorstop took five minutes to install, is easily raised when not needed, and looks fine. The door is quite heavy and the doorstops handles it easily. An inexpensive and simple solution to an annoying, possibly hazardous situation!
