Zevro /GAT201C Indispensable Dry Food Dispenser, Dual Control, White/Chrome

I was hesitant about purchasing this item. I mean, a box holds cereal just fine, and do I really need another plastic thing to hold something that already has a container? But my kids spilled the cereal all over my counter for the last time (and my husband isn't exactly coordinated some days either). So I caved and bought this. It was delivered to my front porch about 48 hours later. I opened the box and unpacked my purchase. It came in about 10 easy to assemble pieces that will be easy to disassemble for cleaning. I gave the containers a good wash, dry, and picked 2 boxes of cereal to fill them up. It looks pretty on my counter, and the colors add a little fun to my kitchen. Then the test. I showed my kids the lid on the bottom and how to dispense the cereal. They wanted cereal for dinner, but as a parent I, of course, said no. The next morning after breakfast, my counters were miraculously cereal-free. There were a few bits caught in the catch under the dispenser, but not on my counter! Ok, I could live with that. It has now been weeks. My counters are still mostly cereal free, the containers are still aesthetically pleasing, and we finished one of the containers without it getting forgotten or going stale. I gave it a quick wipe and refilled it with another box of cereal. The biggest thing is that my kids are now choosing cereal over pop tarts and pastries because it's visible and fun to dispense. A few notes for users. Make sure to replace the bottom cap after use to prevent crumbs falling on the counter as the cereal settles. Put a bowl underneath before taking the lower cap off. Also, the dispenser paddles will crush the cereal slightly, but not enough to pulverize anything.

I grabbed this on a Cyber Monday deal after I saw it on YouTube. We have issues with bagged snacks going stale. I honestly thought I was going to be returning it after trying it with bigger snacks since it seems to be made for cereal. But it works great! One con so far, it does make crumbs when dispensing but this problem is easily solved by using a bowl. Pros: super easy assembly, top and bottom lid for freshness, good space between blades, nice volume, convenient, looks nice. For reference, the picture shows a whole bag of cheezit puffed and snyders pretzel bits.

I recently remodeled my kitchen and was looking for ways to store my cereal which was on the counter top in Rubbermaid containers. I also neeeed something stylish to go with my decor. That's when I came across this wonderful product, that suits my requirements perfect! Most of the canisters that I was looking at online, were too small to hold cereal. These jars are large, but compact and can easily hold 1 packet of the family size cereal, which is what I used to store in my Rubbermaid. It's very simple to put together and the instructions have illustrations. I washed it with warm water and soap prior to use. What I love about this product is the little cap at the bottom of each jar that seals in freshness when it's not I use! My kids were able to take it off and put it back on after use with no issues. Every part can be removed and washed and very easily wiped down. My kids loved having their cereal this way. Product quality seems well made and doesn't look like it's made of cheap plastic. It's a great addition to my kitchen decor and solves my storage needs! Highly recommend.

It fits under my cupboards, but just barely. I like that it's easy enough for my kids to get their own cereal. It holds at least one box of cereal; I wouldn't put more than one in unless you go through cereal really fast because it does get stale after a couple weeks. I wish the top lid went on as tightly as the bottom cap does. Sometimes it's hard to get cereal to come out so you have to turn the knob back and forth. Even then, it does kind of crush the cereal. I found that the mini version of cereals (i.e. Cinnamon Toast Crunch Mini) and flakes/pebble cereals (i.e. Fruity Pebbles, Cocoa Pebbles, Frosted Flakes, etc.) work best. It comes apart very easily for cleaning and is very easy to reassemble. The crumb catchers are a little annoying and I almost wish they didn't have the holes so you could just take it out and dump it. These would probably be great for pet food or seeds/rice.

I looked high and low for a good quality cereal dispenser. Reviews were all over the place, but I finally settled on this one. It is a great cereal dispenser! It's well-constructed, the acrylic canisters and plastic base are good quality and look nice. We've had it for about a month now and love it -- the kids can easily get their own cereal and you don't have to worry about the bag being left open and cereal going stale. If you've got a cereal like Raisin Bran, it'll get crushed when dispensing, but you can easily fix this by removing every other flap of the dispenser. The flaps are a malleable plastic or silicone. I used a razor to cut them out and it was easy peasy. Now it works like a charm. I was worried there might be cereal that drops out of the dispenser after you remove the bowl, but the dispenser doesn't let cereal out once you've stopped turning the dial and there is a well-fitting little plug that you put back in once you're done. Great purchase!

This is nice to have especially if u have kids as they can make their own cereal,no mess. It will help with getting the right amount. I just didn't expect it to be so big. The quality is good easy to put together and functions well and will last.

I don’t know how we’ve made it without this dispenser. It’s so nice for the kids getting their cereal before school and not having the mess of those boxes Keeps the cereal fresh and it holds a big box of cereal. Very easy to assemble It’s a Must Have!

This product is so inconvenient to use. I always need to raise the containers to take out the cereal and it creates mess in every use. Can you please send through paid postage as when I tried to return, I was asked to pay more postage than the cost of the product. This is so unfair. It’s wrong advertising for these products. Please send through the paid postage so that I can send it back to you.

Très contente de mon achat, reçu bien emballé, et rapidement. Bonne contenance. Pale en silicone, qui n'écrase pas les céréales. A voir dans le temps.
